About Me

Are you more than just another pretty face? I could go on and on saying things about myself, like reciting my physical attributes to you, but I don't believe that that the woman I'm looking for wants to hear that sort of sales pitch. I’m quite that she can, and will want to discover these things on her own though! Besides, I'm sure that if that is how you want to find someone, most men on this site have already put up their lists of things they think you will be impressed by. Proof is the bottom line for everyone, so what really matters is to walk the walk *** just talking the talk. I love adrenaline, physical activity and being outdoors; so my match should too. Right now I'd have to say that motorcycling, hiking, SCUBA, rafting/kayaking, and bicycling are my current top five. I've kayaked most weekends this spring/summer, and would love to find someone who enjoys paddling as much as I do. I'm also a huge music lover, and never seem to get enough of the experience that only a great live show can provide. At this point in my life I have no time for games, drama, flakes, or immaturity. I'm fortunate to have a great career. I’m well past childish foolishness, and expect anyone I’m dating to be at this place in their life as well. Like most folks I've been hurt before, and at one point I almost thought I wouldn't ever let myself ever get too serious again, but time and life have taught me to have a new perspective. I’m looking for a professional, intelligent woman with whom I can share enjoying the outdoors, athletic endeavors, and being a little crazy in a fun sort of way. We'll make the rest up together as we go..."Disguise the limit, and the sky is the limit!" Something casual and fun where we can talk and get to know each other in a natural setting without pressure. There should be some sort of chemistry and mutual attraction that we both feel.

Man. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: woman. In age: 47-57

I am a graduate student studying for my masters degree in informations systems. I am divorced, and all of my children are grown. I have 5 beautiful daughters, one of which is temporarily living with me in my home. I have been both divorced and widowed, endured many tragedies and challenges, but remain optimistic about the future. I have been searching for more than 8 years to find someone, and am prone to just take things slow and see how they transpire. I have a car, drivers license, own home, and have both my associates and bachelor degrees. I am generally a nice guy. I would love to meet someone to share my life with, and fall deeply in love. I enjoy riding Harley's (sorry, mine was stolen) and all sorts of outdoor activities. I like to watch movies, don't watch too much TV, and listen to and produce rock music. I think that our first date should be somewhat subdued, a intimate coffe shop or restaurant would be nice.

Looking for: woman. In age: 45-55

i am tom.i'm an observer. i like being on the outside taking it all in. sometimes that's great 'cause i avoid all kinds of drama, but sometimes it's bad because being on the outside means you never quite get inside.i SOOO suck at contacting people i like. if i've viewed your profile, don't be bashful about contacting me if you want. chances are i read or saw something that interested me.i've been in and out of the music industry for most of my life. nothing famous or anything like that...music has afforded me some great oppurtunities for travel and cool experiences. i'm starting to move back into the local scene after taking a year off. writing and looking for places to play again. open mics, i'm sure. lol. my "day job" ended this past summer and i've been looking for something permanent ever since. not the best time to be doing that...but, i am sure there is something on the horizon. i still like some classic rock bands, but i have to take huge chunks of time off from them because you can only listen for so many decades, y'know?movies have become a passion. the station agent and lost in translation are constantly battling for my favorite. this past year movies like away we go and ink have resonated with me in two very different ways.i could go on for hours, but i won't.i'm really just a simple guy, unimpressed with the trappings of life. i'm not about the newest computer, cellphone or fashion trend. i'm about people. i like to get to know them, learn about them. it means a lot when someone genuinely misses me. i will be loyal to a fault, but i haven't got time for fake and pretentious people.i've never been or probably never will be rich. i don't have a ton of money. i think i'm like a lot of people who are just scraping by. i know that it can be a source of friction in relationships, but i would hope to meet someone who isn't interested in it and just in us. (or is rich!)though i believe in stewardship of what i have, i'm not going to be fanatic and attempt to force you towards my belief system. people have to make their own way. i've been around long enough to see fads come and go and am unfazed by them. i AM open to new ideas, but my beliefs are sound.i really don't have a "type". i'm really attracted to an open and honest face. you can tell so much from it. i'm also a sucker for slight overbite and great hair. (prolly 'cause i don't have any of my own!) lols... as cliched as is sounds, dinner and drinks can be a great way to get to know someone. especially what and how they eat. you can learn a lot by how someone holds their fork. (:

Looking for: woman. In age: 44-54

I am new to the area, so like a small town boy moves to the big city...a little out of my element. I moved to NJ, for career a little less than a year ago. I guess I am more old fashion than metro...so I apologize if you are looking for the hip guy...I am more like the hipster-dufus. But I have been told I wear a suit very well, and have more than one pair of jeans (work and dress). I do not take my self too seriously, and have no problem laughing at myself when I am being a dork.I have been a farmer, cowboy, and my professional career is in college athletics, though my passion is developing and training athletes and non-athletes. Yes, I do own a cowboy hat, used to own two but lost one on the side of a mountain in CO, my father owns a ranch there. I grew up with simple values of putting in a hard days work, friends and family first, smile and say hello to everyone, and treat a woman with respect and affection...well, the last one I know on my own.Have been divorced for over 3 years, lived a very quiet, simple non-social life as I have had to be like Andy Dufresne and crawl through a river of sh*t to come out clean on the other side. Father of identical twin teenage boys...Lord help me, and a 10 year old princess. My kids do not live with me, and I am a very proud and involved father, so you need to know my priorities. And yes, I co-parent so their mother will always be in my life but there is no drama. Some simple thoughts:**Yes, I take very good care of myself physically...No, I will not wear a banana hammock at the beach or take my shirt of in front of people.**Yes, I have no problem being brave and killing (or removing) the spider in the shower...No, I will not take on the three WWE wrestlers that looked at you at the bar, though I will explain to you that it is a compliment, and I am the lucky guy taking you home.**Yes, I am confident enough in my own self to go shopping with you...No, I will not stand in the underwear section while you hold them up, bring them home and show me in private.**Yes, I will always think you are beautiful...No, I will not spend a half hour convincing you what you are wearing looks good. Trust me, by the way I look at you, what I whisper in your ear, and how I treat you when we get home...you will know you look amazing, and I appreciated it.**Finally, cause from what I understand on this site, this is important: I am physically, mentally, financially, and emotionally stable. And my pictures are me and not from ***, I had much longer hair then...no I did not have a mullet.I still believe in bringing flowers to a woman, opening the door for others, and my grandmother taught me how to hug someone like you mean it. The honest truth is no matter what I write here doesn't show me as a man, friend, father, or lover...the same goes for anyone reading this...just take the time to say "hello, and we can go from there...hey, what do you have to lose. Keep it simple...find a quiet place to sit or walk. Just talk and make eye contact. See if there is truth in a connection or maybe just a great friendship. I always like the thought of a "non-date" date...like get rid of the pressure and just be yourself.
