I’m looking for a partner that is outgoing and loves to make every minute count. I’ve been divorced for over 11 years and even though that seems like a long time, I’m in no hurry to compromise my beliefs, likes or dislike. I think most people can agree that people who put up a false imagine will tend to roll back to their core self. So let’s keep it real, respectful and most importantly upfront. A little about me:I have two boys, a nice place that I call my own, reliable transportation and a great career. And for those of you that are mumbling under your breath. It’s not my Moms house and I don’t call a cab my reliable transportation....LOL What do I do for past time?I like going to the gym. I love playing Golf .Love doing home improvement projects as long as they are of a short duration.I like to go and hear local bands, like volunteer work and I like to keep a clean house even though that does not fall under “past time things to do".Some of the preset station on my radio includes KSBJ, country and 104I am confident and comfortable with myself, but it was a journey getting there. I promise not to waste your time and be mindful of your feelings. In return I ask the same. Treat others as you want to be treated.(Golden Rule)I promise to keep you in tears......of course that’s tears of laughter. LOLHope you got a little insight into my life, but to get the full effect we will have to meet and see if the chemistry is beyond just words on meetville.- The best thing in life comes from not playing it safe.ONE MORE THING---The fact that I love to kiss makes a smoker a deal breaker. lets talk about it and keep the options open

OK, here's the deal:Being single in your 40's (turned 50 on Oct. 7th, yikes!) really sucks. I don't have much of a dating life but here I am. I work, run, shuttle my son back and forth to band practice and football games, make sure he gets his homework done, and take care of the house. I'd like to have a dating life again, but when I do have time it seems like our schedules conflict. Sometimes I want to blow this place off and just quit for a few years until my son flies the coop, but if I do that I might miss out on finally meeting her.I have been divorced 5 years and I am pretty comfortable in my own skin now but I miss romancing a woman, someone who is as eager to be with me as I am with her. It's not too much to wish for.I am not a player. Maybe it would be easier if I was, but that's not me.Some Things I like:- That first blast of cool air in early October- Watching my son's high school marching band at a football game- Running a 10K on a crisp 35 degree December morning just as the Sun rises-- Watching a show at the Ren Fest on one of those perfect November days- Tubing on the Comal when it's ***degrees-- Flirting with someone, even though I am rustySometimes I am not good at reading people, particularly when it comes to dating. The normal way to date is to meet someone in the course of your everyday life and gradually develop a relationship, but online dating throws this in reverse. It's not easy like it was in college, but I'm trying my best. Please give me a shout if you're interested. There are lots of people here and I may not see you through that search feature. Anywhere besides Starbucks. Ice cream is much better. I'd rather go to the Dollar Store than meet someone at Starbucks.
