I'm a professor working on my PhD in Business Administration. My first novel is being published in ***, and my agent is shopping the second. I love to cook and dine out. I love hanging out with friends. I'm not huge on the club scene, though every once in a while I get an itch.I am at a point of transition and looking for that guy to spend the rest of my life with. So many people have come into my life, most leaving handprints on my heart, a few leaving scars. But they have all made me who I am. It is so much more fulfilling and amazing that way.One great joy is entertaining friends, usually when I am cooking a meal and my partner is helping get the presentation perfect. I am a pretty darn good cook, often recreating meals I've enjoyed at a restaurant. Baking requires precision and following a recipe. I use recipes for inspiration, but cook with my senses of sight, smell, and taste.I'm really looking for friends or dates or ltr. That said, if you are partnered or in an open relationship I doubt I'll respond. I do think everyone needs to have fun once in a while, including me, but couples and halves of couples aren't my thing. I'd rather meet single guys for a drink and see where that goes, but there are plenty of ways to get together. I prefer white men younger than me, but there are always exceptions. A full head of hair, dimples and a great smile are wonderful on any man. I'm vers/btm in case you got this far in my profile. I tend to be attracted to an all-American look. Smiles make me melt. A full head of hair and toned body are great too. But mostly it is positive energy (youthful energy) that attracts me. I'm not bubbly, but I tend to see the best in everyone. I've been single for awhile. I think it's time to start dating again to see what can happen. Everything will be on a friends first basis as we both decide if we are meant for each other.I'm generally a quiet person. Anything loud bothers me lol. Maybe I should buy a noise canceling headset lol. I do listen to music loud at times but for the most part I really do hate noise.I like camping, hiking, going for walks. I'm very versatile in what I like. I enjoy going out to eat but I also enjoy home cooked meals. I enjoy movies, plays and musicals, but I can have just as much fun staying home and watching TV. I guess I'm a homebody who likes going out on occasion. I don't dance so I hate going to clubs. I don't smoke but I do enjoy drinking socially. I enjoy pool even though I can't play, I like bowling even though I land in the gutter. I can use some gym time but I'm not overweight. I just need to get in shape! Maybe you can help motivate me.I served 10 years in the Army and i think that really formed who i am today. I dont mince words, I tell it like it is. I like honesty and being true to myself.
