I'm sort of the Renaissance type of man with interests ranging from music, the Symphony, theater, architecture and museums to camping, hiking and canoeing. I also have almost completely remodeled my home... new cabinets, put a new bathroom in, and laid wood flooring throughout, etc. So I guess it would be fair to say I can dress up in a tux or dress down into jeans and a t-shirt. I am a trained musician; however, I work in the software field. I am a faithful friend who will give it to you straight. I have a good career, own my own home, am emotionally stable and mature and even have three wonderful dogs. One of the things I learned from my last relationship is it's better to know up front than to find out years after the fact.So, other than that stuff... I love spending time with friends, family and my dogs. I'm not "into" the bar scene; although, I would also say I have nothing against it. A good first date to me usually starts at a coffee/tea bistro type of place to see if there is chemistry. After that, anything from watching an episode of Downton Abbey to an amusement park, to dinner, to a movie, to a night at the symphony or opera, to just sitting and talking to going out for a beer or scotch, sitting in the pool or hot tub.
