Down to earth, spiritual, guy seeking friends that can enlighten me and offer real and sincere friendship. After becoming burned out with the corporate world and the drama apparent in many aspect of the gay lifestyle, I decided to forge a different path in my life that focuses more on connecting with the natural world and appreciation for mindfulness in the present moment. I would very much enjoy meeting someone that is honest, sincere, has a sense of adventure and gratitude toward life and what the world has to offer. Willingness to embrace their uniqueness without concern of others, yet able to be sincere toward their friends and people within their lives. I tend to be very independent thinking and a loner, on the quiet side, yet can be outgoing and fun with the right individual. Meeting someone that has an exuberance for life and a passion for exploring the unknown is something I truly long for.I recently purchased a used travel trailer to allow myself a more mobile lifestyle and am working toward adopting the RV lifestyle on a permanent basis. Currently caring for my elderly mother, but when the time comes, seek to take my 3 dogs and live off the grid, *** whatever the day may bring and exploring the natural world by living in the RV full time and move around to different parts of the US and North America on a regular basis. I work to live *** trying to gain material wealth and would rather spend much of my day exploring the natural world and learning more about the spiritual nature that exists within myself and humankind. Currently, I am learning more about Buddhism, reading A Course in Miracles and take time everyday to practice yoga and meditate. I love to bicycle, walk my 3 dogs and try to live a healthy and active life. This wasn't always the case, however, and am currently working on becoming more fit while eating cleaner and healthier foods.For fun, I enjoy reading, computers, all kinds of music (a major music charts and 80s music freak - like new wave and alternative), and watching a good movie(horror, independent, something that can expand my horizons).- Shameless and Community), but am trying to curb my media consumption. I am also taking greater efforts to attend more cultural events like local plays and museums and other special events that will broaden my outlook on the human condition. Working on improving my writing skills and hope to one day complete and publish a memoir.I am HIV positive, and have been undetectable for over 10 years. After becoming diagnosed with the disease, I have taken steps to be proactive of keeping it in check and have previously been involved in AIDS activism, however recently, have become tired of carrying this burden. Having HIV is just something that is part of me, but doesn't define me.If any of this intrigues you, and you are a sincere, honest and down to earth person, looking to make a new friend and willing to take your time to build a solid, organic relationship with me, I would love to hear from you. Although, I do have a sexual side, I actually prefer to remain celibate and only engage in a physical relationship after a solid foundation has been created. Once that time does come, a great first date consists of an opportunity for us to actually talk and continue to learn more about each other. Whether it be something as simple as meeting for a coffee somewhere and going for a walk around the lake, or a more encompassing evening, like going out to eat and then attending a movie or a play, as long as the opportunity to really connect on a personal level exists, the actual details of the date do not matter.

    I love traveling and experiencing all types of places, but it's always good to come home! I am extremely fortunate to have a great family that I am very close to, some tremendous friendships and a career that has allowed me to experience many things I'd never thought possible. But for me, it's the simple things in life that matter most.... a cup of coffee on a quiet Sunday morning, long hikes in the mountains, or a relaxing day at the beach. I believe that life is meant to be shared and I am excited about that opportunity with the right person.
