Hi everybody ! Well to start, I am a single gentleman hoping to possibly find someone with similar interest and goals. I am not hard to please when it comes to entertainment. I enjoy cooking at home with a movie or we can go out on the town for fun. I do enjoy being around people at times. I like camping in general whether in an RV or in a tent. Tenting is sometimes better because it makes one step outside to see the world rather sitting in a camper. I like both ! Either way you are not in the city...LOL I like anything around water, be it boating, kayaking or just sitting on the river, lake or beach. I like thrift stores and antique shops... never know what might be there... and at the right price too... LOL I am a humorous guy at times... I have a way of making people laugh ! My humor comes from my true life stories or what I am witnessing at the moment . I am also sentimental, care about people and our world around us. I don't like to spill my heart out to the universe... I would rather meet someone and get to know them. I think when two people meet, that they know if there is a chemistry there . It has to come from both people. I can listen to any kind of music... the only thing that doesn't appeal to me is Rap... Second Is Opera..... So given that... anything until current... I am open mined too.. Hopefully, I can find the right person that wants to work together to better achieve our goals and dreams in life. Two heads are better than one ! No pun intended...lol Lunch or Dinner would be nice....and see what goes from there. " Let's talk a little while before we get to that point..." I would like to get to know you and you me. I understand that some of us are undercover, especially in the South, but I will not consider a date with out a photo... and conversation before we meet.

I'm a mid-40s guy, fun to be around, responsible, settled and stable. My stats are 5'10", 186#, 36w, brown eyes, black hair with just a sprinkling of gray. I've been on the same job for 15 years, own a modest home and a nice car, have a retirement account, etc. By some standards, you could say that I "have it all"...except a special someone to come home to. I'm looking for a similarly responsible, stable man, for dating and possibly something long-term if the connection is there. I'm not interested in a casual fling, one-nighter, or "hook-up." Although a relationship is my ultimate goal, I believe that you have to build toward that slowly...so friendship, getting to know each other and dating is definitely a prerequisite. I think it's unrealistic to expect that you'll jump right into a relationship without a solid foundation for it to stand on. I prefer someone in the 30s- I've tried long- I'm open to talking to out of town guys so long as relocation is an option for you at some point if a relationship eventually develops. My ideal guy is masculine, slim/average/muscular build, self-reliant, intelligent, articulate, compassionate, kind, responsible, honest, confident (but not arrogant!) and a good conversationalist. Of particular importance is the ability to laugh (including at yourself!) and to find the humor in ordinary things. I think laughter is good for the mind, body and spirit and I try to do it as often as I can!I believe in treating others as I would want to be treated and I'd like you to feel the same. How a person treats service people (waiters, clerks, etc.) is usually a good indicator of their character!Mostly, I'd describe myself as a nester, but not a hermit. I like to cook and try new foods and wines, listen to all types of music, watch a good movie snuggled up on the couch, or just sit quietly and catch up on the daily newspaper. I like nice things, but I'm not materialistic. Manufacturers' labels don't define me. I try to keep my house and car clean and organized, but I'm not obsessive about it.-- because let's face it, who wants to kiss (or do more) with a person who doesn't smell or taste good? :)All in all, I'm a fairly typical working man. I go to the office, come home, work in the yard, cook dinner, read the newspaper, watch a bit of TV -- normal stuff. Being gay isn't a significant part of my identity, it just defines my physical attractions. Most of my friends tend to be straight, although I'd like to make more like-minded gay friends to hang out and do things with.So if you're ready for something real, steady and "normal", get in touch and let's talk - nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'm ready to laugh and love again...are you the one? I'm not really interested in someone who is a constant barfly or otherwise preoccupied with "partying."
