I've got 9 year old boy/girl twins, and I hope to meet the last woman I'll ever fall in love with. If you have kids, know that I would be honored to some day be in their lives, I'm a natural with kids, and I'm a great dad. My kids have a good mom, but they are sweet, brilliant little people who will love the woman I love. OK, enough about them. I'm here to talk about me!....WHERE ARE YOU ALREADY? I'm looking for a woman who is flawed, and doesn't pretend otherwise. If you're on this site, and in my age range, then in all likelihood you've had some disappointments, experienced loss, and gained some wisdom along the way...and that will only make your MORE appealing to this particular man. I won't settle for less than great chemistry, lips that can't get enough kisses, and a life that includes exquisite, private hours of...sweet sensations. I think falling in love at this stage of life means finding someone with whom most of the pieces will fit together, and then the rest will work out fine. I'm looking for a woman with a healthy, happy, balanced life, but enough room to be adored. Words that describe me are loyal, grounded, warm, intelligent, reliable, open, articulate, sensitive, sensual, kind, sentimental, funny, vital, and sometimes stubborn, and impatient (I'm not entirely wonderful!). I try to always be in the moment, with both eyes on the road ahead, while always knowing what is in the rear view mirror. I like good food, hot coffee (I'd rather pay for Peet's than drink free Starbucks), working out, watching movies and other performing arts, the rewards of hard work, listening to KCRW (often, and always when I'm in a room with a faucet), and I like turning off my iPhone and wandering through my free time, with no place I need to be and no *** deal with. I truly believe that age is a state of mind and body. A balance of work, family, and down time is essential to happiness. I'll fit in well with your friends, never show off, or force my political or religious views, or say anything to make you cringe. I love being with people who are genuine, interesting AND interested, those who like to engage and not just talk AT me. I like making a good living and I'm great at what I do, but it will never come before family and health. I've had jobs with great responsibility, traveled to many parts of the world, but, if I could make a living at it, I would spend my time as close to the ocean as possible, writing short stories, journals, and never look back. I like just about anything decadent and delicious in moderation. Exercise is an essential component of my life. I'm not a gym junkie, not obsessed with perfection, but fitness and healthy living have always been, and always will be part of my life. If you don't live a healthy, fit life, if it's not truly essential to you, we are not going to be a match. So much more to say, but I wanted to write enough to make sure it resonates with you. If so, the rest really can happen!...relaxing, breezy, comfortable, time passes by unnoticed, and the turns never result in us skidding out of control. It really doesn't matter what we do on our first date, as long as we can hear each other talk, and sit comfortably together.

    The longer I am on here the more convinced I am that this isn't where I should be looking. Most of the people on here seem to be very uptight and not looking at the world with open eyes, shutting themselves off from new experiences. "I want", "I need", "If you are not..."; I see these on a lot of profiles and in my opinion these people are limiting their chances at meeting the right person for them. You never know the love of your life could be nothing like you expect.I think chemistry and physical attraction are extremely important. These descriptions are very general and to actually find out compatibility you need to meet each other. Texting/e-mails don't allow you to get subtext when communication like tone of voice and facial expressions so it's not easy to tell if someone is interested or just playing with you. So I prefer we can get past this portion of meeting over as quickly as possible and at the very least get to talking on the phone. I also appreciate when women just drop hints, I prefer a more forward woman that doesn't like playing games or having games played with her.I am a laid back and generally happy person, I've been told I have a good sense of humor, also very close to my friends. Like everyone else there are times when I get annoyed or pissed off, hey I'm only human. I believe that you should treat people how you would want them to treat you. I'm loyal to a fault until you prove to me that I shouldn't be.I am also interested in other cultures, open minded and I love to travel to new places. I also have a big dog, so if you don't like/are scared of/are allergic to dogs, I'm sorry you aren't the right one for me. I made a commitment when I got him and that's not going to change. My someone will accept my flaws just as I accept theirs, after all no one is completely perfect. I would like to find someone that has the same love I do for the geekier things in life, though if we were right for each other that wouldn't matter.Anything else you would like to know just ask.
