I do not take myself too seriously and am looking for same. I can adapt to any social setting or environment. I like all types of music -- in other words - basically everything. I enjoy watching movies, following politics (I watch MSNBC regularly), and seeing local bands. My favorite TV shows are "Breaking Bad", "Mad Men, "Homeland", ";, Letterman and "Politically Incorrect". I have a personal trainer and lift weights three days a week. I'm also trying Zumba (hey - don't laugh - beats using the treadmill all of the time). The last book I read was "The Center Holds - Obama and His Enemies" by Jonathan Alter. I am looking for someone who is "down to earth", sincere, and who has an intellectual curiosity. I like wit, sarcasm, and a creative mind. And, unlike most men, I like smart, independent women. Which reminds me, no "; viewers. I enjoy sports and going to sporting events. I like the Olympics and watching the Bears on a Sunday afternoon. I also enjoy going to various restaurants. Locally, I like going to House of Kobe, Buddy & Pals, microbreweries, or anywhere "on the square" I also like historical venues, or anywhere that you can learn or see something new and interesting.     Updated Profile:Hello, thanks for stopping by. I’m a divorced dad of two, 11 year old girl and a 9 year old boy. I enjoy time with my kids; I also help coach my son’s hockey team. Other activities I enjoy include playing hockey and golfing in my spare time. I have a great job (IT) and I own my home. As for pets, I have a very kid friendly dog (Jenna), she runs the house.
