I would say most people describe me as " the tall blonde guy". Those that know me say I'm creative, and funny. I'm looking for a woman that intrigues me and is a great conversationalist. A woman of intelligence and independent thought is what I like best. Kindness and thoughtfulness are two very important traits I look for as well. I don't really have a physical type of woman that I'm attracted too. I have found myself attracted to women of various races, shapes, heights, and ages. Personality and wit are two main attractions for me. One of my favorite hobbies is film making. I've been doing it since the 80's. I write, direct, shoot, edit. I pretty much do it all. Maybe some day I will be discovered, but that's not why I do it. Some guys like to fish and hunt and I like to make movies. I also have a fascination with photography and I'm looking at spending more time with this hobby as well. As far as music goes I like a wide variety of stuff. My cd collection is very diverse. Yes, I still have cd's and some vinyl and cassette tapes laying around. I'm a car guy and if I had the money I would have a stable like Jay Leno's. I only have three cars currently. If you like going to car shows that is a big bonus. Some ladies on here have expressed a concern about where I live. I have three cars and I don't mind driving. I do it daily. Also, If I meet someone special and it gets serious I have no problem moving closer. I have no permanent attachments to my current residence. I got a great deal on the house and I wouldn't mind selling when the time is right for a nice profit. Also, If your interested in me I will have more interest in you if you send me a short or long message rather then the automated "pof flirt" message.Another tip: If you never ask me any questions during our *** I tend to think you are either not interested in me, or your horribly self absorbed. after the meet and greet. Afterwards go for a stroll on the seawall and talk about life and dreams. Or maybe just hold hands and enjoy the sounds of the roaring ocean and the cool evening breeze.

Been a while since I tweaked my profile; figured it was time...I'm a single dad of an autistic child. I quit a $100,***a year job to have that child with me, so that should tell you where he ranks. I'm easy to get along with. I'm quiet, and while I love conversation, I also like quiet time at home. I very seldom drink, and I don't do drugs. As a rule of thumb, I don't like many people. I don't hand our very many pails or shovels to my sandbox; I'm not opposed to sharing, just very selective about who I share with.I spent a lot of years as a paramedic. I've had a six week old baby die on me, so trust me, nothing you can say will shock me. I blame being a medic (although I loved every minute of it), for making me the person I am today. I see a world changing in front of my eyes, and I don't like the changes.Not into "big girls" (sorry if that bruised an ego or 25, just the way it is). I'm sure there's a guy out there for you, it just isn't me... I'm not a sex freak at all, not 18 anymore. There's a time and a place for everything, so attraction is certainly important. Did I fail to mention that I'm sarcastic, cynical and outspoken? I'm also not into people of the same sex or inter-racial dating. Again, fine for some, just not my thing. I don't care a thing about threesomes, swinging or trading partners. I'm a creature of habit. I like to watch the same old(er) movies over and over, I have a pretty set list of TV shows that I watch, and I listen to the same music all the time. I like the restaurants that I like, and while I'm not opposed to learning about new places, I'm perfectly content with the ones that I frequent. I'm not into staying up all night, if I have my choice, in bed by 11pm is fine by me, 10pm is even better. I know how to cook, clean, pay bills, budget money, do laundry and raise my child. I don't really "need" anything from a relationship, other than the companionship component, Things go wrong, and people change (if they didn't, I wouldn't be divorced). Fortunately, I'm lucky enough to have an ex-wife who is a best friend these days (which is important, as we each have one child from our marriage--..). I want someone who can read me. I'm not a complicated person, in fact I always say that I am simply complex. I (like everyone else) have my quirks; figure them out, and I read like a well written book. I may do something a certain way 99 times, and then different the 100th time, but rest assured, I had a good reason. I want the person who KNOWS when that 100th time is coming, and without having to ask, just understands WHY I did whatever I did differently.I'm certain there's someone, somewhere, that would change my mind about what I want out of life, but in the 4 years since my divorce, I ain't found her yet. Ok, here we go. I like the normal stuff, dinner, walk on the beach, drinks. Concerts, amusement parks, the zoo. Busch Gardens is a fave. To me, it's not WHAT you do, it's WHO you do it with. If I meet a girl with no legs, probably NOT going to suggest water skiing... I usually leave it up to them anyway.

What am I looking for? Hmmm. . . Wouldn't it be nice to have someone who you just click with without having to forever "work" on the relationship? Sounds simple enough but what a daunting quest it is.Hopful to find someone special to be close to; to share and explore life; to cozy up in front of the fireplace and/or a good movie with; and who loves kids and being part of a close family. The most important part of my life is my 2 unbelievably terrific daughters (6 and 8 years old) who love to do just about anything and who I love doing anything with. I am an easy going, down to earth, open minded, tolerant: a "live and let live" type. Have a good sense of humor, very thick skin, and consider myself kind, thoughtful, good hearted, confident, and respectful. Very happy with my life, but there is something missing to complete the picture. Enjoy traveling but am just as happy to hang out at home, like to cook and garden, have a stable and satisfying career, and enjoy many different types of music.Enjoy doing lots of stuff, trying new things, exploring, seeing new places, meeting new people, and experiencing different foods. Very patient. Very independant. Something casual. You get the drift, relaxing, not stressful. First date, whatever, it's no bid deal!
