Hello. I love being outside when the weather is warm and love gardening and doing outdoor/home improvement projects. I probably drop the F bomb way too much. I like a cold beer and a good movie. Really into foreign films, documentaries and films of substance. Although I think Caddy Shack and Animal House are great movies. I'm opinionated and lean left. I have cats and like all animals. I like learning new things and get along best with more Type B personalities, but that's not a deal breaker as long you're smart. I recycle and compost. I don't use chemicals around the yard, but I'm not a granola. Well, I'm kind of a granola. I enjoy home improvement projects cuz I get to use my tools. Especially love my chain saw. Tools to men are like shoes to women, we can't have enough. I'm pretty fit and like that in a woman. I'm pretty low maintenance and looking for kind of the same.I'm finishing my PhD in Exercise Physiology at the U so I stay pretty busy, but I still find time to travel. I am soon starting a new chapter in my life. I will student teach in the fall and graduate in December (then the job search begins). I retired from the U. S. Navy in ***after 20 years of service. I enjoy sports (especially golf and football), hanging with the family, and movies.I have two step-children from a previous marriage that I keep in touch with and two children that I am raising. The two I am raising are my great-niece and great-nephew. She is six and he is five. They call me daddy.I was reading a profile today that said her glass is half full. It made me laugh. My step-daughter asked me once when she was in middle school if I felt the glass was half empty or half full. I told her, "It depends." She looked so confused. She told me I cheated!! lol.I cannot play any *** did try the banjo for a little bit, but I could not commit the time to it. I listen to mainly country music and classic rock. I have four tattoos and they are on my arms. I do not ride a motorcycle. I like to take long walks and wish I had more time to run. I will never be rich (money wise) because I am a retired sailor and soon to be a teacher. I'm a little over weight. It is tough to handle my kids when we go shopping. I spent 20 years in the Navy as a gunner's mate and common sense in our creed. I believe I am old fashion and that trust and communication are the keys to a great relationship.I am looking for an old fashion women that enjoys life, family, community, and children. I would also like if this very special women could tell the difference between there, their, and they're and know when to use each in a sentence. Please do not chew food with your mouth open and please do not use double negatives when speaking. I know it sounds anal, but the last three things I talked about drive me crazy.
