I also love my Ducati motorcycle. Its my weekend toy :) I try to spend at least four days a week in the gym with the weights, and that's kept me lean and muscular and at my college weight. So that's not changing anytime soon.I'm a fairly quiet and thoughtful type, but I also do enjoy the night life, and a good party. On the other hand, I enjoy quiet coffee time with a book or magazine (probably a car, motorcycle, or science mag). I'm an easy going, gentleman-type of guy***who wants to open your car door. I'll happily help clean up the kitchen should you cook us a nice dinner, and will gladly spend an evening discussing the finer points of politics and world affairs with your dad :) I love music of all kinds- blues and jazz, old-school country, bluegrass., alternative rock, rootsie folk- I collect and listen to all types. I earn my living as an aerospace engineer. I'm proud of what I do and have contributed to some amazing stuff over the many years- some of which has even made the news :) I like the feeling of having someone special. I'm confident, but not arrogant. Its an important distinction for me, and I would look for the same in you. I also recognize that the best physical relationship happens in a mature relationship, not on a first date. I am looking for someone active and passionate about work and life; a woman with interesting perspectives who I can learn from while we enjoy each other's company. I'm looking for a woman who is physically fit and takes good care of herself, but not necessarily obsessed about it. I want to travel, and dance, enjoy bike rides, motorcycle rides, late nights out, and early morning coffee. 1. Talk about your hobbies. => Ok, we don't have that kind of time. I have lots, mainly artistic.My current obsessions are making wee steel roses out of bottle caps, painting (wet on wet oils a-). I like to go fishing, mainly so I can sit in stillness next to the lake. Generally, I'll be working on two or three projects. Remember ladies, a man with hobbies is best -- When he has free time he won't be spending it at the strip club or chatting up the neighbor, he'll be in the garage where you can find him.2. Talk about your goals and aspirations. => I played soccer in high school, but I was in the backfield so no goals. I aspirate constantly to keep my bloodstream saturated with oxygen. Oh wait, that's respiration. I haven't aspirated anything since I moved out of the lab into more computer based activities at work. I don't have huge aspirations, mainly because I'm happy with who I am and where I am in my life right now.3. Talk about yourself and what makes you unique. => Like, all kinds of stuff, man. I talk to people in line at the supermarket. Some of them look at me like I'm crazy (which is true to a degree), but strangers sometimes have the best advice. I'm often silly, which causes some folks to say I don't take life seriously enough -- I'm of the opinion life will be serious enough on it's own, you don't need to help it out! I pet strange dogs if they let me. I love dogs! They are unfailingly honest and virtuous. I'm honest to a fault (Disclaimer three lines down).4. Talk about your taste in music. => Anything but modern country. Old school country is all right. I love to go out and dance once in a while.For my day job I work for a megacorporation processing scientific information related to the production of lubricants. It's more fun than it sounds!OK, I'm sorry, I lied -- I'm 5'7", not 6'1". It's just marketing and the difference between two of you reading this and two hundred.I have two boy dogs and two girl cats. The cats and I have an understanding. I love my boys with the burning intensity of a thousand suns, and hope to live up someday to how they see me. That's all for now. I'm going to keep adding to this day by day as it comes until they stop me.Update for May: My dog just had surgery, he has the cancer :( I'm not going to have the mental resources for serious dating right now, but if I pique your interest please drop me a line anyway.Ciao=^..^= I'm a fan of the traditional dinner/drinks/coffee deal, where one can have a nice conversation and get to know the other person.I'm a lot better in real life than I am on the internet.
