I have come for a new career and change in venue to stimulate my mind and tackle challeneges I have never encountered.But there is more to life than a job or career..perhaps sharing the experiences of your life with someone close and dear to you, shlaring the discovery of the history that occured around you, or travel to warm places when it is cold and gloomy to regain focus and rekindle your relationship. Life is too short for work alone and I strive to explore, experience and learn to keep my mind engaged and my perspective sharp.I have done many things in my life and have been blessed to no end with 4 wonderfulll kids who now have grown and are in the world making it a better place in their own ways. Now it is time to look not at my scorecard of accomplishments but rather what will make me happy and healthy going forward.I am looking for someone to share a healthy meal, share a story , to discuss the happenings of the day, to snuggle under a blanket when it is cold and enjoy a fire in the fireplace, to travel to new places, to share a walk, to spend quiet times with or a nice glass of wine on a summer evening. I have taken a keen interest in US history as I have visited the many places around DC that doccument the real story of our Nation's birth.I am not a bar person, I am sports illiterate but can watch a Nats game and have a blast, I am not a night club dude but enjoy good classic rock, jazz or even classical music. So a party animal I am not but do enjoy dinner with friends or a picnic just because you can in the many treasures around our Nation's Capitol. I am simple but yet can be complex.Driven but want to escape to a simpler life at times.Accomplished but would rather be a bum most weekends.I am looking for someone who has a career themselves, who is comfortible with who they are and who wants a partner to share new experiences.
