Normal, hard working guy who wants a date that will go for long walks, dance, maybe golf. Get together in the kitchen and whip up good meals out of fresh food. The occasional movie in or movie out, maybe some live theater or some live music at some small venue. At this stage in life I just can't stand enormous, pressing crowds anymore. Trade back rubs. The one thing I don't want is too fall into a sedentary rut of work, food, sleep, television. I get outright depressed if I'm not active or productive in some fashion most of the time. I count on being active and a healthy diet to stay in shape. Gyms are just too freaking monotonous.Extra points for loving the water and boating. Extra Extra points if you know how to sail. I love almost all music, most notable exception being death metal. Favorite is probably classic Blues and rockabilly.I'm a modest man of modest means. I'd rather enjoy my health and the world *** spend all of my time maximizing my portfolio. That being said, i work pretty hard and pay all of my bills. I have extra respect women that are self sufficient. Intelligence and self confidence are very endearing traits, and if you "need" a man to feel secure and valid, It probably won't work out. If you "want" a man to share life's joys and tribulations with *** going it alone 100% of the time, I'd love to hear from you.After 8 years living on a boat I recently bought a house. I suppose I should add garage sales, thrift stores and swap meets to the list of fun activities. The occasional trip through Ikea for a meatball after looking for end tables as well ;-) I also want to get some raised bed vegetable gardens going next year. can't have enough Blueberries, Bell peppers and tomatoes. One reason I bought the place was the 800ft2 garage to have all the tools and workbenches a guy could ever want. I could share my shop space with the right person if they enjoyed doing projects in their spare time.Have I covered all of the bases? am I ambling erratically? Is my grammar and spelling sufficient to attract educated and intelligent women? I hope so, I'd hate to end up with a closet tea party member.That reminds me. If I’m near a karaoke bar, I’m not afraid to grab the mic and belt out a tune or two. When I sing, I let it all out…singing is an amazing gift and I enjoy letting my heart carry my voice as far as it will go.Most of my family is from the Carolinas (North and South) and many of their ways have been passed on to me. I enjoy treating the woman I’m with like a lady so opening doors and pulling a chair out are second nature for this southern boy. I’m a very devoted father to my 3 children and enjoy every moment I have with them. My number one priority is giving them everything that they need to be the best human beings they can possibly be. I love being a Daddy more than I ever could have imagined.I value relationships and enjoy meeting, talking with and getting to know people. I believe there are few moments more special than watching a loving mother hold her baby or looking across a table in the eyes of a beautiful woman.
