Ready to laugh? Good. Me too. There's nothing like a good, can't catch your breath, side-splitting, tears-streaming-down-your-face laugh. Nothin'!! Let's see how badly our sides can hurt!I'm old-fashioned when it comes to women. That's the way I was brought up. I get the door for the lady, rise when she arrives/leaves the table, get the chair, just basic manners. I wonder where chivalry and those manners have gone nowadays?...I love to cook (when I have the time). Some favorite foods to cook and/or devour are seafood, pasta, Italian, Mexican. brats, burgers or salmon on the grill! Or throw in some Thai or Chinese take-out and some guilty pleasure TV! (that's my dog- We're a team!I'm grateful to have my health. About eight years ago, it was a coin-flip if I was still going to be around. Having said that, I'm still here! As for "No" drinking, it's just that I don't. Doesn't mean I can't make an AWE-some margarita or open a bottle of your favorite Merlot. I'm happy to oblige!I'm hoping to find someone who wants share their highest highs and their lowest lows. To me, that's what a true relationship is. There for the good times AND bad. How great would THAT be?...your best friend, your lover, your confidant...all rolled into the same person! That would be my ideal partner. Is that you? That is a good and bad thing. That's something we can discuss at a later time...When time permits (and it's a show I really want to do) I'm an actor and director and can occasionally be found on, or in front of, any number of local stages. I'm a hopeless romantic. What does that say about me? (other than I have strange tastes in music?E.M. to REO Speedwagon, Alison Krauss to Christina Aguilera, The Decemberists to the Doors, the list goes on...This is new and mostly awkward for me, so forgive me, I'm not used to describing my wants/desires/expectations in a public forum. Like you, perhaps, I've never HAD to write down my wants/desires/expectations in a public forum! But oh well, here it is, nonetheless. I am honest, trustworthy, completely loyal and respectful. Who's up for Starbucks, reading the Sunday paper, a bad (maybe even good) game of bowling, hitting the driving range, walks at Greenlake or Leschi with dogs (or not), holding hands, trying to keep warm at an outside sporting event, hot chocolate (heck, ANY chocolate!), weekend road trips, cuddling in front of a roaring fire (in the fireplace or a fire-pit, that is, not a blazing house fire or anything like that!), long, warm kisses, any of those interest you? Hello and thank you for reading my profile! I’ve been told that I am a thoughtful, sincere, loving, energetic, motivated and passionate person. I have a great job that has given me the chance to travel the US and many parts of the world.I’m very active and physically fit. I exercise at least 5 days a week and spend as much time as possible outdoors. I enjoy running, biking, water skiing, boating and hiking. I’ve studied Tae Kwon Do for over 20 years ago and handed off my love of the martial arts to my 2 boys (the 3 of us tested for our 2nd degree Black Belts in June last year).’t get enough of the outdoors there. I also enjoy working around the yard and even washing cars on a nice sunny day (yes…I’ll wash yours too ?)I love eating out, learning about different foods and cultures and drinking wine. I also love music (especially live). I grew up on Classic Rock and listen to it whenever I can. I started playing acoustic guitar several years ago and now sing and write songs. I enjoy playing and singing along with others whenever I get a chance and will happily play for you too. I’; but I also play songs from the 80s, 90s and today (U2, Goo Goo Dolls and Train).. If I’m near a karaoke bar, I’m not afraid to grab the mic and belt out a tune or two. When I sing, I let it all out…singing is an amazing gift and I enjoy letting my heart carry my voice as far as it will go.Most of my family is from the Carolinas (North and South) and many of their ways have been passed on to me. I enjoy treating the woman I’m with like a lady so opening doors and pulling a chair out are second nature for this southern boy. I’m a very devoted father to my 3 children and enjoy every moment I have with them. My number one priority is giving them everything that they need to be the best human beings they can possibly be. I love being a Daddy more than I ever could have imagined.I value relationships and enjoy meeting, talking with and getting to know people. I believe there are few moments more special than watching a loving mother hold her baby or looking across a table in the eyes of a beautiful woman.
