About Me

Hmmm... Describe myself.... Although I do have a good social network and enjoy the company of others I consider myself a borderline introvert and I sometimes need to make an effort to get out and socialize. I prefer to be out doing something , rather than sitting in a noisy restaurant talking. I have often been told that I'm really a big softy deep down although I do not seem that way at first (for some reason). I'm the guy who sometimes needs a tissue while watching a good movie or attending live theater. (don't tell anyone; men aren't supposed to cry...) I have been known to blurt out some pretty bizarre things, although never cutting or hurtful to anyone. I have devoted the last ten years to raising my daughter on my own (she's 19 now). It seems men typically want a son, not me. I prayed for a girl and have enjoyed every minute of my time with her. When I'm not working you can bet I'm working on some sort of project at home, weather it be gardening, fixing up a vehicle of some sort or redoing a bathroom.I still have a dirt bike and do ride it once in a while. I also love camping ( okay motorhoming) .Biking the seawall is awesome too, especially early on a Sunday morning. I love the ocean, and dream about retiring near salt water but I can't decide. Small-town living would be pretty special too. A stroll on the beach?
