Movies, boats, food, and great conversations are a few of my favorite things. I also enjoy any kind of science and sometimes politics, although in this town that can be a very contentious topic so I try to be diplomatic and respect others opinions even when I vehemently disagree. I can be a big nerd or a dork, love gadgets, always with a smile and a laugh. I have been described as more wise than smart (I'm not exactly sure what that means but it feels right). I clean up okay and have good manners however I am not a metro-sexual by any stretch. I appreciate aesthetics and have an eye for quality in art, music, and people. I take pleasure in things that are some way social. My favorite thing is my boat, my floating home, its a special way of life. As I transition from the life of a pirate on the water, I am struggling to get used to the ND winters again and it makes one much more appreciative of summertime activities. Imperfect as it may be my life is getting better and steady on a path that is strange and different. At the end of the day I am hoping to find someone who wants to take the path less traveled. Someone as passionate, affectionate, loyal and open to life as I am. Someone who loves to laugh, has some secret reservoir of passion dying to get out, is playful and can find the greatest pleasure in falling asleep to a lullaby of lapping waves and share my wonder of all the land and sea. I think classic dinner and conversation is the best way to get to know a person and see if there is real compatibility and attraction, and it has to be long enough to get past "interview facade" if dinner turns into an all night conversation that's a good sign.
