If you've been on here for any amount of time, you've probably spotted the irony of looking for someone special, yet having to trudge through profiles and *** homogeneous that it seems all communication comes through a Mad Libs filter. "If you want to know anything, just ask"? That would be great if I knew who the person was (I doubt they are omnipotent, so I hesitate to posit a query about string theory). "No games and no liars"? As if some game-playing liar is going to be sitting at home reading it and think, 'ah well I guess I won't write HER.I don't mean to sound lacking in empathy - empathy is, after all, one of my favorite activities. There is a certain unnatural salesmanship that goes into writing a self-summary and packing it with pictures that look like you have a show on the Discovery Channel. We all do it.
