Keeping things loose and not getting upset over the little things is important. Depending on the weather, I'd say a motorcycle ride down the the coast with a stop for shrimp and beer is optimum. Otherwise, during colder periods, I'd say dining at a tapas restaurant followed by something humorous like Radio Music Theatre is a great first date.
