I am 45 and recently single - married for 20 years, together for ***no commitment phobia here! It was a great 'run' and I have no regrets, but am ready to start the next chapter now. I'm pretty well-educated and smart, but not in a 'book smart' kind of way. I'm just a hard worker with a drive to succeed and do well. My interests are varied from reading and cooking to skiing and hiking. I love music (all genres) and recently come to appreciate some country too. I love a good TV drama -- but can't pass up the occasional episode of Seinfeld. I'm in very good physical condition, but just about to start with a personal trainer to be in excellent condition. My personal appearance is very important to me, so I live a healthy lifestyle, eat right, no drugs, and don't drink, but I don't mind if you do (drink, not the drugs - been there, done that!). I come from a very large and close family and we remain a part of each other's lives without hovering. Most people say that I am very good looking (although I say you'd never know that from any picture ever taken of me), have a great sense of humor, and a deep, caring, and sensitive side. I've lived a charmed life up to this point and even with this little turn in the road, have nothing but hope and optimism for continued happiness and success, especially with the woman in my life. With me you will always be respected and revered in many ways. I'll be attentive and sensitive when you need me to be, but to be fair, I am about as honest as one can get. So, if you don't really want the truth...I'm not the guy to ask the question. My answer to, "Do I look fat in these jeans?" got me in trouble more that a few times!!There's a lot more to me than can be answered here and I hope you're interested enough to ask. The first date depends on the people and their interests. Me, I would meet over breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or even just have a cup of coffee. Ideally though the weather would be good enough to take a stroll on the beach and listen to the waves as we get to know one another.

I`m a musician. I`ve been playing guitar since I was 11. Music is pretty much my life. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to travel the world and play music. I used to play guitar professionally, and actually made a living at it for a good while. I guess you could say I'm retired from all that now, but I will always play and continue to create.
