Yes, I still smoke, cutting back but if you don't smoke, you will not smell it on me, this I promise. To be honest, I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, I'm starting to think that I'm not looking for anything at all. I enjoy being single on most days although I do hear my buddies at work talk about their marriages and/or relationships and sometimes miss having that. I've met alot of really cool women on this site, some very cool women actually, but in the end, it just wasn't meant to be. Sex, sure, I like it, just not with random women, I have morals and just don't sleep with anyone. I have a cell phone but only use it when I'm traveling, I still prefer using my land line and my computer while at home. Texting is kindof foreign to me and I really don't feel the need to be in constant contact with the world. I have a steady job that I like, a car, an apartment, sanity somewhat and my teeth, lol. You should atleast have a couple of these things. Yes, I'm a transplant and a Patriots fan, lol. I love it up here in the mountains, I haven't experienced this type of serenity ever, in my life, so this is my home now. The only thing missing is youuuuuu.....Wait, too run of the mill cheesy? lol. Who cares, it is what it is. I'm not clingy or possessive, I'm looking for somebody similar. I consider myself a gentleman. I'm looking for friendship first. I don't have children, it's cool if you do, kids, who doesn't like doing kid things, like going to an amusement park or a fair. Tell me you can't hang out at an amusement park and not have fun with a straight face, go ahead and try, you can't, lol. I'm not looking for a mommy, I can take care of myself, so no worries there. Spontaneous is good, be open to different things, as I will open myself up to different things with you if we start talking. In short, I'm just a simple man, who has settled himself up here in the mountains, serenity. I'm easy going, open minded, adventurous, independent and looking for someone to hang out with from time to time at first, possibly leading to a relationship. If you like road tripping, awesome, I love doing off the wall things and would enjoy having someone to roadtrip with or even someone just to hit the movies, hike or have dinner with from time to time...Thank you for taking the time to read this........Be good and keep smiling. I'm a positive person- life is too short for lots of drama. :) I've never been married (but would like to be someday) and would also like to have a child or adopt. My parents were married for 40 years until my Mom died. My father's advice to me was "find someone who will be your best friend". I'm looking for that combined with all the romance, passion, chemistry, fun, spontaneity- all rolled into one package. It happened for my parents, I've seen it happen for my friends too, so that's what I'm looking for too. I'm a romantic and really enjoy doing nice things for people I care about. I like to travel- visit new places, be spontaneous. I enjoy good music, concerts/live bands, hiking, kayaking, photography, charity work/volunteering, walking on the beach at sunset, and home improvement projects. I love music- was a DJ on the radio for ten years- worked at several radio stations playing classic rock, christian, oldies, and top 40 music formats.***somewhere with great live music, concerts all the time, restaurants, and outdoor activities- lots of places to go kayaking, hiking etc. God is in control- so we'll see how he leads that.I'm a Christian. I've made my share of mistakes in the past- just like the next person - hopefully I've learned a few lessons along the way. :-) I'd say a good first date would be meeting at a nice restaurant - somewhere quiet where we can just be relaxed and enjoy a nice evening of good food and conversation. :)
