I have a good idea of what I am not looking for in a significant other but no idea of exactly what I am looking for (that makes sense in my mind...lol).Fit / Healthy: Its hard to be fit at 40+, I live it and respect in others. I understand 40 years old isn't 20 and don't expect you to be. I am ok with a little extra but if your ***lbs. over weight I am not ok with that. Medically stable: If your drink heavily are popping pills just to make it through the day or psychologically unstable, forget it, not happening, been there done it twice, got the t shirt, divorce papers and scars. Smoking: I quit 12 years ago, can not and will not deal with being around it. About me: 5' 10", ***lbs., have my own house, truck, motorcycle and job, I work to live and not live to work, I will do anything for people I love, I keep my word if humanly possible, I have NEVER cheated on anyone, I'd really like to find someone who compliments my life style and I theirs. I have done 11 sprint distance triathlons but missed the last 2 years due to shoulder issues. I still try and work out regularly and would love someone who can keep up or even challenge me to keep up with them.I am happy with who and what I am, worked hard to get where I am physically and financially. (not rich or ripped)I have 4 children who are the most important people in my life, 25, 22, 10yr old daughters and 17yr old boy, joint custody of 10yr old, other 3 are on their own.I have time to date and will make time for someone I am serious about if you can't or won't I am not your man.This is dating and supposed to be fun. I once saw a shirt that said "I put the man in romance". That definitely describes me to a tee. I will melt your heart, rock your world, and keep you on your toes. Anything that rocks or soothes, I am into music more than most. You know that guy you laugh at driving down the road singing along to the radio and playing air drums, well that's me. Yes, I've seen you out there laughing at me. I'm a hands-on man. I am extremely handy and enjoy taking on any size project. One of my favorite quotes is; "If the women don't find ya handsome, at least they will find ya handy". I dig hiking and camping and anything on the water. A campfire in the back yard is great way to bring friends together. Random road trips on a whim just to change it up. Of coarse, I am a man, so grilling out is a a given. I have also been known to jump out of a airplane or two. While I am interested in meeting someone special, I am always open to meeting new friends, so if you like to meet new people and simply want to hang, don't be afraid to message me. I am really outgoing, as I am usually up for anything. As far as the basics; I am responsible, I am a contractor, I own my house, car, etc. Family and friends are very important. to me. Whenever someone needs help, I am the go to guy for friends, family and strangers. I'm really easy to please, I want to be with someone who is respectful, fun, a little wild, and knows how to love a man. As far as the woman I would like to meet, hopefully she has her own individuality, yet also finds comfort in being a team and has a lot of passion for life and love. Something we both can enjoy. Personally, I love the live music scene, so that is a possibility, There is really no limit to my interests. It all depends on how well we get to know each other before a fist date. I like to take the lead, but I am open to anything. One thing you will immediately notice, is your door will be held open for you. Get used to it, for that is not a one time deal with me.
