I am 45 and recently single - married for 20 years, together for ***no commitment phobia here! It was a great 'run' and I have no regrets, but am ready to start the next chapter now. I come from a very large and close family and we remain a part of each other's lives without hovering. Most people say that I am very good looking (although I say you'd never know that from any picture ever taken of me), have a great sense of humor, and a deep, caring, and sensitive side. I've lived a charmed life up to this point and even with this little turn in the road, have nothing but hope and optimism for continued happiness and success, especially with the woman in my life. With me you will always be respected and revered in many ways. I'll be attentive and sensitive when you need me to be, but to be fair, I am about as honest as one can get. So, if you don't really want the truth...I'm not the guy to ask the question. My answer to, "Do I look fat in these jeans?" got me in trouble more that a few times!!There's a lot more to me than can be answered here and I hope you're interested enough to ask. The first date depends on the people and their interests. Me, I would meet over breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or even just have a cup of coffee. Ideally though the weather would be good enough to take a stroll on the beach and listen to the waves as we get to know one another.

I work in the radio music industry mainly but I’m also involved with a few other local businesses as well. I can appreciate someone that is athletic because I enjoy running, biking, weight training and skiing. Education is a major plus. I’’ I don’t enjoy the typical social scene mainstream has to offer such as clubs and pool parties. I do however enjoy discovering new restaurants, outdoor sights, and music venues. I do an average amount of reading and research for both personal and work related projects and enjoy other people’s perspectives on pop culture, news, and politics. I like technology, tech problem solving, and engineering related types of topics. Football is fun to watch, but I like snow sports just a bit more. I should add that I’m not a judgmental person, can’t process drama, and have great patience and support for those I like to be around. I work normal hours, I’m able to provide and care for myself without any issues. No addictions or mental hang ups here, so for women that are looking for a broken person to fix, it may not be ideal. Coffee for a meet up is a great idea. I usually think that its a low stress situation to meet and get an introduction. Dinner like pizza, or a fun sushi place with boats is always a crowd pleaser as well, or just an old fashion idea such as a phone call.
