Things about me:My favorite dish to cook is Chicken Tchoupitoulas...grilled Cajun chicken breast served over spicy potatoes, ham, scallions and mushrooms and topped with a zesty Bearnaise sauce....mmmmm....Bearnaise.I'm an excellent pool player and love all sorts of games (except the relationship kind)."John Dies at the End" is the best book I've recently read.My two favorite shows right now are Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire.I'm a "numbers geek" who wants to become a professional sports gambler in the not-too-distant future.I love going to reggae shows...the rest of my musical taste is Anything But Country.;pinky" I'm pretty sure this will be the last place I'll live in the United States...but maybe another country could be in my future? Hmmmmm.I've worked in restaurant industry for 30 years now, holding every title there is from dishwasher and busboy to GM and Chef. I even owned my own catering company for quite a few years, so I know how to throw a party! Right now, I am a lead server at one of the best steakhouses in the country and absolutely love my job even though the hours, weekends, and holidays conspire against me in the search for quality female companionship...Things about you:Most of the women I've been interested in and dated have been much younger than I am...maybe it's because I work in an industry of 20-somethings who make me feel younger than my age?I can't really say that I have a "type", except that I gravitate towards women who are my size or smaller.     Hello, everyone! A bit about me:I have two daughters (ages 9 and 6.5) and love spending time with them. I love traveling (been to many foreign countries), cooking, trying new restaurants, collecting and drinking wine, and working on projects around the house. I also enjoy running--I try to get out of the house and run every day for thirty minutes or so. I find that it really helps clear my head. I've also been known to go out dancing for the evening, be it in a group or even by myself. Even just people-watching at these places is pretty entertaining!I very much enjoy my work, but I'm not a workaholic. I get to the office fairly early, work smarter (not harder), and am done at a very reasonable hour. Life's too short to be a stick-in-the-mud.I don't sit in front of the TV watching sports all weekend. I'd rather be spending time with friends and family by the pool, on a run or a hike, or exploring new things.As for my musical taste, it's pretty well-rounded, I think. '80s, jazz standards, "cocktail party" music, lounge music, dance, house, etc. I'm not a fan of country or rap, but everything else is pretty acceptable to me.Well, that's about it for now.
