I'm looking for the right someone to enjoy and share all that life has to offer. I've been divorced going on five years now and have two awesome boys ages fourteen and eleven. They spend every other weekend as well as every Thursday with me. Our hobbies are snow boarding, dirt biking, football, soccer, basket ball and the beach. Nothing gives me more fulfillment than knowing that somewhere there is a person or child struggling to understand a basic or complex scientific concept. And that the exhibit that I built and *** that particular museum helped them understand. I'm also a musician who plays guitar for fun and friends. There is nothing better than sitting around a fire at night playing music with good friends. Everyone singing along and dancing to the music I'm playing is a spiritual experience for me to say the least. I enjoy all forms of music. My ideal first date would be with someone I'm attracted too obviously. My attraction to a person is not based solely on physical appearances. I'd like to get to know someone on a first date and personality is a large part of what makes me attracted to a woman. As for the first couple dates go I'm sure there would be some awkwardness and shyness that would be overcome as we got to know each other. My idea of the perfect night out with that special someone would be, dinner with friends either out or home cooked and maybe some live music out at a club. Then back home to hangout around the fire pit to relax and play guitar and sing.

I just have a zest for living and appreciate each day. I would love to find that special someone to help me share those days. I am hard working but easy to get along with according to my friends. I am the guy that helps others out often because I am a softy even though I show a tough exterior at times. I like to stay busy and keep a schedule but hey I can break out of it quick if it is for the best. We get too caught up in this crazy world of gadgets, but I have a good number of them too (yea even a fancy smart phone). But I don't let them overwhelm my life and miss real life things that are around me. When I am talking to a person at dinner I give the cell phone a rest and I appreciate it when others do the same, but of course its not a requirement. I have a PhD in medicinal chemistry and so far that has helped me achieve many goals I had set in my teens. I can play a mean harmonica with any guitar (country, blues, or rock) all I have to do is hear that guitar; so god gave me that talent. I can sing as well and many folks say I can stay with the upper karaoke folks. I can swim very well too since I enjoy scuba diving and have worked as a life guard around age 20. I think a first date should include a nice lunch or early dinner at a quaint restaurant so both persons can get to know each other easily to see if they mesh well. I would like the young woman to feel I cared much that she had taken time out to meet me so I would probably bring some flowers just to brighten her day (I am old fashion like that since I am a southern boy born and raised from GA). That would be enough for the first date unless we both decided to do something else like take a walk or get a coffee, but that would only be if we had the time and also if we both wanted to hang out a little longer.
