Second time around.I have a very intense job ...and I thrive on that. When I get away from the office I want to enjoy with a special someone...but not willing to settle for someone who wants to completely "shut down" logic. I love to debate issues and consider nothing to be taboo ground. Being able to argue abortion rights in between a round of darts to me is enjoyable.I am seeking a strong willed woman who is not afraid/ ashamed to have their own opinion and be willing to stand up for it. I am looking for an intellectual equal, or superior, with a sense of humor as warped as mine. If I sound bitter I dont mean to be...I enjoy being frivolous and doing things others would consider asinine. Truely I am just tired of a dating scene where people meet by only seeing the "; of a person versus the reality of who they are daily. I love watching all sports and listening to all types of music, though rock, country and 80s are my favorites, I enjoy checking out new places to drink and dine,new local music talent and going to festivals.This might be the worst profile opener ya ever see on here...but want to be blatantly honest. Sorry not very good at hiding what I am feeling-and do not feel that is a bad thing (er most of the time that is :) )! I am a bit of a romantic but havent been with a lady in awhile that excites that part of me- whether them or me is to blame I cant say- just know I miss it. Looking for a partner in life...whether traveling or just going to the local pub, festival or sitting on the couch.- both tend to infuriate rather than infatuate)and someone adaptable in social situations- (We all have known/ know the person who wears holed sneakers to a wedding or dresses to the nines for a hayride!). Looking for a woman just as comfortable in her jeans as she is in a dress. I am a strong believer in there must be a physical attraction as well as an intellectual one...On that front: I am most attracted to athletic body types- A "few extra pounds" is the way of life for us over ***and still attractive!!!)...but do not consider 40 or more pounds "a few". I have just started getting back in shape myself and looking for new fun ways to lose a few pounds or reshape what I have.I have left huge gaps in there of course but have been told my "description" was much like me...long winded!
