Hello thanks for taking the time to read my profile.....I enjoy all the seasons...All the things one can do here... I was a chef for 13yrs so I love to cook, little dinner parties or family gatherings...and a gourmet dinner for two...yeah...I got my pilots license 5yrs ago and love it....ok so I like my toys...but they are a lot more fun with a awesome female partner in crime...I consider myself very cultured in that I mean I enjoy all things fine and all the simple things in life......I am in the gym ***times week, I take care of myself, so should the person of my interest.. I am at the point in my life where I can play more and work less, I also am a proud Dad of a Beautiful 14yr old daughter, I have her a week on and week off, we have a great relationship and have lots of fun together, I so enjoy my time with her and so enjoy my free time......I have learned a lot about true love the last couple years...my parents have been married 64yrs...My mom was in a home with little time left and watching my dad go through this has taught me a lot...( she passed away recently and I have also taken on the task of remodeling my dad’s home to sell and get him in a smaller home.....I have so enjoyed the extra time I get to spend around my father, and now that’s done I am ready to get back to my life....... *Update I just changed my mail settings so that a first contact message has to be 50 characters...just way too many 'hey there' messages.*I'm a friendly, approachable, communicative, adventurous, confident, outdoorsy tall guy who is looking for a committed relationship. I'm educated and well-travelled. I'm athletic and love getting outside for all kinds of activities and sports..my go-to summer outside activities are swimming, beach volleyball and cycling and I *love* skiing in the winter. That said, I have definitely been known to lounge on the couch too and I once watched 21 episodes of '24' in one weekend. Ouch. Admittedly, this was a long time ago. I grew up in the woods and spent most of my childhood playing outside. I've been a tree planter, bike courier and kayak guide in my life...all wonderful jobs that let me make money outside. These days my job keeps me primarily inside but I have lots of time off to play so it's all good.Speaking of my job - I love it. It gives me an incredible sense of fulfillment and it challenges my brain every day. Most days I consider myself privileged to do my job and work with my co-workers; they are amazing people. I should mention that I work shift work, 4 days on and 4 days off. Personally, I love it but if that's a turn-off for you then I figure I might as well get it out of the way.I'm looking for someone who is happy and adventurous. Confident and affectionate. Caring and open-minded. Spontaneity is great but so too is responsibility. I love my family and hope that you do too.
