*Update I just changed my mail settings so that a first contact message has to be 50 characters...just way too many 'hey there' messages.*I'm a friendly, approachable, communicative, adventurous, confident, outdoorsy tall guy who is looking for a committed relationship. I'm educated and well-travelled. I'm athletic and love getting outside for all kinds of activities and sports..my go-to summer outside activities are swimming, beach volleyball and cycling and I *love* skiing in the winter. That said, I have definitely been known to lounge on the couch too and I once watched 21 episodes of '24' in one weekend. Ouch. Admittedly, this was a long time ago. I grew up in the woods and spent most of my childhood playing outside. I've been a tree planter, bike courier and kayak guide in my life...all wonderful jobs that let me make money outside. These days my job keeps me primarily inside but I have lots of time off to play so it's all good.Speaking of my job - I love it. It gives me an incredible sense of fulfillment and it challenges my brain every day. Most days I consider myself privileged to do my job and work with my co-workers; they are amazing people. I should mention that I work shift work, 4 days on and 4 days off. Personally, I love it but if that's a turn-off for you then I figure I might as well get it out of the way.I'm looking for someone who is happy and adventurous. Confident and affectionate. Caring and open-minded. Spontaneity is great but so too is responsibility. I love my family and hope that you do too. As many others have said, the first date is usually just about finding about whether there is going to be a second date :) And I think second dates are usually a lot more interesting and adventurous than first dates.
