New to this, not certain if it will be a success, but willing to try anything once! I feel that i am a thoughtful, genuine and soulful kind of guy...who is just looking for a confident,independant and adventurous woman, who has security and stability in her life. I love to laugh, so a sense of humor is important to me. I have so many interests, really. I love going to concerts. I enjoy playing golf quite a bit, as well as many other sports. My background is Portuguese, so it easy to say that I like cooking, and cuisine from all over the world. My friends would probably describe me as a film and music nut. I play guitar but somewhat shy about any aspirations of being a rock star. Lol. I enjoy working around and maintaining my home. I have no children, but love being an uncle to 7 fabulously talented nieces and nephews. There are so many things that make me unique, it's ridiculous. Modern pop rock today, acid jazz beats tomorrow, indie folk the day after that, etc. Love bands like R.E.M., Radiohead and Wilco. My goal in doing this ad, is just to hopefully meet an awesome woman with somewhat similar tastes that just wants to enjoy laughs and genuine good vibes, whose family is as important to them, as mine is to me.Definitely no headgames or shenanigans. The perfect first date would depend on the time of year, obviously. An ideal first date would be going to a cool pub to play a little pool, enjoy listening to an indie artist on acoustic guitar. Then going out for sushi or a late night dinner of some sort. Or another ideal first date would just involve me cooking an awesome dinner at my house for my date. We would enjoy drinking some fine wine and maybe watch some cool movie, or go for a walk through Rockway Gardens.
