Life to this point has been a series of adventures, and I've never been afraid to take the path less travelled, whether it be career path or trying something new just to see if I can do it. I like to believe I can accomplish anything if I put my mind to it. I have a quirky sense of humor and tend to surround myself with friends who enjoy life as much as I do. I am fortunate to be friends with my family as well, and they are important to me.The quieter, more reflective side of me appreciates the unspoken bond between two people who truly care for one another. Flying, sailing and tinkering around with airplanes are mainstays, though I enjoy many other things as well. I am an avid reader, enjoy comedy and a good movie now and then. I am one of the lucky ones who actually enjoys what I do at work, but look forward to spending time enjoying the finer things life has to offer. I think a great first date would include dinner or maybe going for coffee, and something other than going to a movie. It'd be nice to do something outside, like go for a walk somewhere niether person has been, or just find a place to hang out and listen to some live music. Even go out and shoot pool (I'm terrible at it by the way) -it wouldn't matter, so long as we could have a chance to talk and get to know one another. The ultimate first date would have two people who barely knew one another at the beginning of the day become friends.

Author Neil Peart. Its about his journey of healing after losing his daughter then wife in a period of 12 months. He's the finest drummer who ever graced this planet, and a wonderful man who has had a lifetime influence on me with his writing.Not a gym rat, like to play hockey and some other sports. I am myself, just be yourself and its all good.I would rather be myself and some not be attracted to me than pretend to be something I am not to get attention. The right woman will come along. I like to joke around alot at work, but I am serious too when I have to be. I consider myself to be somewhat of a homebody, but I get out also. I do have my faults, can admit them and improve upon them. its what makes me myself, and I like who I am. I find myself working alot on my home and my side business in NASCAR.I know that most people get the first impression from the pictures. All good, I am guilty of it myself. I have a past that is securely where it belongs, in the I am 5' ***' tall, average height. I own my own home and am financially and emotionally secure.Completely useless fact about me:For some reason I can remember exact dialogue from many movies of the ***s: Breakfast Club, Platoon, Caddyshack.A talent I am proud of but clearly has its limits.I like mostly rock alternative music, but I have been known to like acoustic versions of everything.I have two kids and equal custody, but they are getting older at 13 and 16.I consider myself to be pretty funny and witty, except around stiffs who are overly serious.This happens mostly at work in meetings with Mgmt types, my apologies to those of you whom may be in this category.Also,and I can't believe I have to say this:If you are 4:20 friendly I am not interested.
