Back again, hopefully for the last time. Sure would be nice to meet some normal people, lol :-)I am probably going to be the most straight forward, honest person you will ever meet. Could be seen as a positive trait, or even negative to those who don't accept the truth. I'm a very open person, who has absolutely nothing to hide. The older I get, the more I realise how important truth is. Without trust, there is nothing. So,,, first of all . I am not here to waste any one's time,,, so please do not waste mine, so please read carefully, and thank you for checking out my profile.. I Figured I should take another chance not really sure where tobegin, so. ....1st.I will start with what I am not looking for... If you have no real family values,, and allow yourchildren to have no respect for the people around them,, really I am notinterested.If you think family is not a two way street,,well again, I amnot interested.If you think there is an I in the word team,,, again , Ithink you get the idea,,lol,, Not interested..If its a one night stand your after, well I'm sure there are allot of ditch pig men on here who would be happy to accommodate you..lol....Sorry if this sounds harsh,,but I just know what I want is all and disrespect for other people is at thebottom of my list,,lol. In order for someone to be honest with others you have to be honest with yourself..I was raised with very strong family values.. I am looking for something based on love,, not cash,, been there done that..I,m 6'2 about 185lbs,with six pack abs ,,longer light brown hair,been toldI have an witty sense of humour,, sometime sarcastic,,,,but I guess that'sup to the individual. Not hard on the eyes, or at least I have been told,,lol Self confident, emotionally and financially secure, as I own my own excavating company still in its infancy, independent, outgoing,and intelligent.. If you were to ask any of my friends, they would all saythe same thing, that I am funny, smart and a very caring person. Although theyalso say that I am to honest and to nice to a fault,, but I do believe that is the only way to be. I try to enjoy life as much as I can. I love getting outdoors,,and working out..I have 80 acres just east of the city that I love as I really do like somepeace and quiet in my life now.. I am self employed and do very well for myself as I own heavy equipment.. Looking for someone with just a good outlook on life,and someone whotakes care of themselves..hope its not wishful thinking...lol.I like to cook but don,t always have allot of time for that,,.I love theoutdoors or just content to relax in front of a warm fire, enjoying amovie, or just our company. I enjoy the outdoors such as fishing, camping,golfing,gardening,, rockclimbing,restoring classic cars quadding, dirt biking playing in one of my dunebuggies..I play a little guitar once and awhile,and used to play in a bandyears ago in Kelowna,, before I grew up...lol.I enjoy keeping fit andmaintaining a good appearance. I used to study martial arts but not so muchanymore.Don't seem to have as much time as when I was younger..I guess you could say I,m just normal down to earth guy looking for thesame in a woman. I'm not really into negativity.I'm really not into head games .. I'm just looking for a happy person to have some fun ,, build ameaningful relationship with. If you take a chance and get to know me, I promise that I'll treat you with as much respect and consideration as anybody has.Me-I enjoy doing different things than most people and although I would always appreciate having my mate along, I know that everybody has different interests and I'm certainly not trying to find someone to join me in all of those activities. What I am looking for, eventually, is a best friend, lover, a strong connection and a healthy relationship.I'm really into nature and spend most of my spare time hiking in the local forests or paddling through the wetlands. As a hobby I teach wilderness skills and survival and do a lot of overnight backpacking where I can hang out with all the amazing wildlife we have here and watch the incredible night sky as I fall asleep. I probably get out doing things like this at least twice a week. I see such amazing things! A lot of people say they like to hike and camp but I live it. I hang out with the deer and porcupines and the peregrine falcons. I also spend time hanging out at home with the cats, having friends over to visit and creating stuff. I guess if someone was here with me I would be snuggling up on the couch and talking about life too.I never watch sports. There are plenty of other men for that. Actually, I really don't watch any tv and feel like I'm wasting other real life experiences when it's turned on. I don't think mine has actually been plugged in since the storm season started...two years ago. I do watch the odd movie on my computer, mostly in the winter.I'm very much into conservation and I'm active in a number of organizations that work to protect nature. I mainly do this to keep up the exercise that I wouldn't otherwise get in the winter.Because I hike, bike and row a lot, I'm physically fit. Most people think I'm in my mid thirties.I always park my truck in the summer and tried it this last winter too. Some people will think it is weird that I bike to most places but it keeps me in really good shape, I save a ton of money and it's a good example for conservation. I have plenty of good friends that always offer me rides to pick up big items and they know that I am always willing to come and fix their computer or help with whatever. It builds community.My home is a very quiet sanctuary. I'm kind of a minimalist so its a simplistic, cozy, small home. I'm very tidy.I eat very healthily but fall off of the wagon occasionally (damn ice cream!).I'm very mild mannered and non-confrontational. I'm not possessive, needy or dependent. I'm not going to have a problem with you getting together with your friends (male or female) to do other activities on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to be out in the bush all day looking for a pileated woodpecker nest.I'm a bit of a romantic I guess. I own the most powerful astronomy equipment in the Red Deer area but nothing seems to make me feel closer to the stars than cozying up in thick blankets with someone under a starry sky.I'm very lucky to have a lot of very good friends. I'm not sure what I've done to deserve them but they take very good care of me and we do a lot of interesting things together. They are all very involved with the community. I don't speak to my family and I think I would go crazy if I didn't have other such good, salt of the earth people in my life.I'm really easy going so message me anything, even if you have no idea what to say and just say "Hi."
