I don't tend to get strung out about things and am generally viewed as pretty laid back and quick with a smile or laugh. I've got a great steady job and look forward to spending the rest of my career with my employees.Love getting out once in a while and shooting some darts, playing pool, bowling, seeing a new band, but weekly/daily happy hours or the constant bar scene are not for me. Home is a destination for me, not a rest stop, so I don't need to go out somewhere to have fun. Unless it's the Packers playing or a stray superbowl, I don't really care too much about sports.I'm looking for someone to eventually share life with. To enjoy laying under the stars and talking about our dreams, to enjoy my love for walks on the beach, and sitting on the couch and talking until the beer gets warm. Friendship is one of the most important aspects of a relationship, someone who you enjoy doing things with no matter what it is. Outside friends are important as well, it allows times apart to breathe and for the fondness of being together to grow. I don't believe that people have to be completely similar to get along, the differences can be used to compliment each other.I'm looking for a woman who isn't afraid to express herself. A woman that cherishes her family and friends and knows the value of not only having similar interests, but also involving the other person in those that might be different. Someone honest, emotionally stable, warm and tender hearted, intelligent, confident, dependable, loves to laugh, quick with a smile, loves warm beaches, willing to make goals and chase dreams. She would have to know how to appreciate what she has in life and not take everything for granted. Someone that wants to be my best friend and have fun but also enjoys time alone. Good luck POFer's...Why are we here? Are we looking for the same things. For me, I'm (eventually)looking for a companion. Someone to share all the excitements of life AND the mundane. Cooking, shopping, laughing etc. It all starts with friendship and respect for each other. I'm not interested in being put through the ringer as I am sure you aren't either so....The golden question is....Who and what are we looking for?We all bring something different to the "relationship table". We all have good and bad qualities, some for the better. We all have different traits, personalities, likes and dislikes. I have learned a real love starts with loving who you are as a person...AND I have learned to be happy with myself and by myself. For me, what I look for in a woman is the integrity of her will. she is not afraid to be vulnerable but yet strong enough to know that her love for her man is the only thing that matters, besides the love for her children. She knows that her word is her bond and her actions always speak the truth. She knows the art of compromise all too well when in a relationship and like me, knows when to walk away when things get a bit heated. I am vocal and can be argumentative, BUT I do not NEED to raise my voice to be heard. The one I'm with will allow me to speak my mind, walk along side of me and not behind nor in front of me.
