About Me
I am now established and have very happily acclimated to the real suburban/city life of the lower 48.ME:My friends and family would describe me as genuine, honest, loyal, easy going, down to earth, open-minded, good natured, tolerant, patient, nonjudgmental, fun-loving, goofy, compassionate, sometimes serious, sweet, and kind hearted. I care deeply about family, friends, animals, humanity in general, social justice/issues, equality, and the environment.I am respectful, affectionate, considerate, complimentary, supportive, reliable, consistent (to a certain degree; not always predictable), and flexible (I know how to compromise). I believe in chivalry. I am not perfect and I don’t pretend to be! I admit to my mistakes and learn from them. I probably can be complicated and picky at times too. I know how to recognize boundaries, I respect them, and I expect the same. I believe that I have good communication and listening skills but they can always use improvement.Lastly, I am also told that I am fun to be around and that I have the ability to make people feel comfortable around me. I am a positive guy who likes to smile and laugh a lot. I laugh at myself often and don't take myself too seriously.My life is stable, I really got my act together, and I’m in a good place in life.WHAT I ENJOY: I love being in the outdoors and exploring. I am really into music and I enjoy going to concerts and music festivals either locally or nationally. I am into rock-n-roll, the blues, rootsy Americana, zydeco, string- I would not expect my partner to share every interest of mine. Just share enough interests to closely connect with one another. Generally on an initial encounter I would prefer something very low key. Nothing fancy. It just needs to be in a quite surrounding so we can hear one another & and make the most of the visit to see if there is a mutual likeness and something worth pursuing. First encounters can be awkward so I’m generally not interested in dining out. I’m just interested in enjoying each others company and learning a little about one another by sharing some stories. I’m just going to be myself and expect the other person to do the same. Whatever happens, happens. It's all good.
