I have found that two people that are happy with their career paths and confident in their abilities have a synergistic effect that allows each to find contentment and satisfaction far deeper than on their own. Both understand the demands the other faces and provide support to help the other push past barriers. I enjoy things like independent films, the arts and stimulating conversation. While I can be a foodie and enjoy an expensive meal and a night out watching a play, I can also find great satisfaction cooking at home and sitting on the patio having a personal conversation. I enjoy going to sporting events and spending time on the lake. Also, I believe in living a healthy lifestyle so my match would complement and motivate me to continue that journey. I just finished my first two 8k races and have several more planned. I am open to new experiences and would like to meet someone that will introduce me to things that I may not have tried. I like to laugh and think that I am fairly witty at times and can be silly at others. I want a partner that shares that trait. Finally, I am a very loyal and honest person. Me, I am many things: a father, a son, a computer programmer. I tend to consider myself neither a pessimist nor an optimist rather a realist as I try to see things as they are not than how I want them to be (though not always successfully). The personality says Techie but that is only one aspect, it should allow multiple 'personality' selections (and I don't mean 'multiple-personalities' as in a disorder).I am a decent cook, maybe not gourmet but I don't starve :-) I especially enjoy firing up the grill, having a few drinks and cooking up something good for that special someone and enjoy it together. Or even having a cook out for the family & friends and having a get together.I also enjoy music, quite a bit; particularly blues, rock, jazz, classic and southern rock along with trying to play the guitar and bass, for fun if for no other reason, I just enjoy doing (or trying) it.I think I have a pretty good sense of humor, at least most people seem to think so (co-workers and the like).A fan of amusement parks (KD), I particularly enjoy the wooden roller coasters!!
