Plenty of Fish (POF***Thanks for taking a few minutes out of your day so we can learn a little more about you, first off what's with Love Spirals?Love Spirals (LS***Sure, no problem. Love Spirals is actually shortened from Love Spirals Downwards and that was a band I listened to a lot in the 90s. I just like how it sounds.POF – There haven’t been many who let us interview them on here, why did you agree to do so?LS- I figured I could share a lot about myself which would help someone determine if they wanted to get to know me better, send me a message or add me as a “favorite;. Of course I’d prefer a message. I know it’s hard to make that initial contact but it’s online stuff so it’s pretty safe.POF – What are some things important to you in a partner and relationship?LS – A few that come to mind would be someone who’s passionate about something in her life, someone who’s for the most part happy where they are in life or at least working towards getting to that place. I think having some things in common help a relationship which to me would be an appreciation for the outdoors, cooking/baking, road trips, lazy Sundays, coffee, music and enjoying movies and TV at times – even some bad TV. It’s important too that she is someone who understands and appreciates ones need for some downtime/alone time.POF – Are there any specific type of movies or music you find yourself drawn to?LS - I’ll be the first to admit I love a great romantic comedy movie. A few that come to mind are Serendipity, Say Anything and Never Been Kissed. I do like other movies as well as long as they are done well, even movies like Wedding Crashers and the Hang Over are great, I am a guy still. As for music, I don’ Some non- meetville – You mentioned liking the outdoors, can you expand on this?LS – Yes, that’s a good question because the outdoors are a be a big deal to a lot of NW'tners. I enjoy the hiking/camping/road trips around OR/WA, however I’ve not one of those ***outdoor people. I’ll tell you right now I love my shower, and a comfy place to sleep. I’m a fan of B&B’s but also a fan of a tent though it’s been awhile since I’ve slept in one. I do like to play tennis and golf and enjoy photography as well. I take the camera with me a lot during my site visits for work. meetville - What do you mean by Project Manager - Environmental Field? That can mean a lot of things.LS - Fair question, I oversee several fish & I get to travel to some beautiful and interesting places and I work closely with those states and Tribal fishery biologist on these projects. So just to be clear, I am not doing the actual on the ground work, this is performed by them. I do travel to these areas for site visits, to check on the projects and their work as well as attend various meetings with these folks.POF – Would you say you like a certain type of women?LS – I don’t think I’ve got a particular type, I am 45 now so I've got some serious dating years behind me. She'd be someone who's got a sweet and genuine heart, can show empathy and finds herself rooting for the underdog more times than not. A sense of humor and someone who can be a little sarcastic at times is a plus. Of course she doesn't need to meet all of these qualities, but a few would be nice to have. I will say a girl (and I know they are all women) who treats others and things well (humans, animals, nature) goes a long way in my book, as does an amazing kisser.POF - Any silly things you want to share about yourself?LS - I love silly facts so here are a few. My favorite number is 9 and my favorite color is green. My favorite month is October and carving pumpkins is a must no matter how old I get. I have chapstick in my desk at work, in my bathroom, in my living room and next to my bed. Recipe books are fun to read in bed and my closest friends are still the people I met in my teens though I’ve met some wonderful friends at work as well.POF – Anything else you’d like to share?LS – I will say I’m very much a question asker. I’m a curious guy and want to know things about a possible date/partner, etc. I do travel at times for work but not for long/extended time periods. I’ I've been divorced since ***and it seems like a lifetime ago. I have no children- sometimes I think I'm missing out but then there are other times I think "wow you're a great Uncle and that's probably all I can handle". Lastly, I do need downtime to recharge, I think I mentioned that earlier. I know that can be a deal breaker but it’s important I have time to myself now and then.POF - Thanks for letting us know a little more about you.LS - No problem, it was fun. crushing on this song right ***

    This is the hardest part for me to do on these. I like history stuff and how things work or are how they made. I own an electronics repair shop. If you asked me to go hiking, or a bike ride, or rent a boat at a lake, I'm there. I can dig out my old BMX bike. I used to race BMX with my kids and traveled the country racing on the weekends. Even won a couple of National events. I like doing things with my kids. They are in high teens and early twenties.I like to travel to warm beachy places. I like to scuba dive. I am secure with myself. I am going to Cancun next month, by myself, and I know I will have a blast with whoever is there.I'm not afraid to go out and dance, or sit and watch a movie. Dance lessons would be fun, to actually learn how. Ha Not the ole' "white guy dance". I actually have rhythm and shake my hips on beat. lolI sing in a local rock cover band, on the weekends. I like to go to open jams and sit in as well. I am not an ego maniac like most lead singers. I am stuck in the 80's, but can sing most rock n roll quite well,,,so I'm told. ;) Queensryche is a favorite. I play a little guitar too. Being on stage is a perfect excuse to act crazy and rock out, and get paid for it! LOLI like to take my motorcycle out, and it would be great to have a passenger, of course when it gets warm again.I try to take care of myself and eat right and such. I dont get to work out much, due to time, but someone encouraging me might help.My mother has property in the country where we go to ride four wheelers, BBQ, fish, shoot guns(at targets), and just generally relax. I have a nice 5th wheel camper I stay in. Its also my bugout place. I'm pretty versatile and can fit into pretty much any situation. That boring wedding reception, biker bar, or metal concert and bang my head.\m/Well I guess if anything is interesting you can drop a line.If you want to meet, dont just click the "meet me" button.
