Hiya, I have tried to be as honest as i possibly be in my profile, the person you read about would be the person you would meet x It's true i am hardworking, honest, caring, considerate, generous, reliable, a silly romantic sometime's, but above all else selfless, i always try my best to help people out, but i am also quite naughty and perhap's a little bit cheeky sometimes. I am quite laid back and easy going. More than anything else though i like to relax and have fun, life is far too stressfull as it is. I am many things to many people. I am open minded as well as being broad minded, always willing to try new thing's and new experience's, how do you know you don't like something until you try it, i'll try anything once, maybe even twice if it feel's nice ha ha. I always think that a lasting relationship is based around friendship, you have to be friend's as well as lover's. When you meet that special person it doesn't matter where you are or what you're doing it's just being with that person that's important. Whether it's going out socialising, just being silly, laughing and joking while taking a walk or snuggling up on the sofa under a duvet watching a dvd, being in that persons company is all that matter's. Physical contact is important and i love cuddling and holding hand's.As i have been asked this question quite often now i thought i would answer it here. While i do smoke occasionally, i am a considerate smoker and certainly wouldn't smoke around a person that didn't smoke at all and yes i will either chew mints or use mouthwash afterward's, although i am in the process of trying to give up, i suppose smoking is my only vice really as i dont drink that often and i certainly dont do drug's of any kind, i never have. Plenty of Fish (POF***Thanks for taking a few minutes out of your day so we can learn a little more about you, first off what's with Love Spirals?Love Spirals (LS***Sure, no problem. Love Spirals is actually shortened from Love Spirals Downwards and that was a band I listened to a lot in the 90s. I just like how it sounds.POF – There haven’t been many who let us interview them on here, why did you agree to do so?LS- I figured I could share a lot about myself which would help someone determine if they wanted to get to know me better, send me a message or add me as a “favorite;. Of course I’d prefer a message. I know it’s hard to make that initial contact but it’s online stuff so it’s pretty safe.POF – What are some things important to you in a partner and relationship?LS – A few that come to mind would be someone who’s passionate about something in her life, someone who’s for the most part happy where they are in life or at least working towards getting to that place. I think having some things in common help a relationship which to me would be an appreciation for the outdoors, cooking/baking, road trips, lazy Sundays, coffee, music and enjoying movies and TV at times – even some bad TV. It’s important too that she is someone who understands and appreciates ones need for some downtime/alone time.POF – Are there any specific type of movies or music you find yourself drawn to?LS - I’ll be the first to admit I love a great romantic comedy movie. A few that come to mind are Serendipity, Say Anything and Never Been Kissed. I do like other movies as well as long as they are done well, even movies like Wedding Crashers and the Hang Over are great, I am a guy still. As for music, I don’ Some non- meetville – You mentioned liking the outdoors, can you expand on this?LS – Yes, that’s a good question because the outdoors are a be a big deal to a lot of NW'tners. I enjoy the hiking/camping/road trips around OR/WA, however I’ve not one of those ***outdoor people. I’ll tell you right now I love my shower, and a comfy place to sleep. I’m a fan of B&B’s but also a fan of a tent though it’s been awhile since I’ve slept in one. I do like to play tennis and golf and enjoy photography as well. I take the camera with me a lot during my site visits for work. meetville - What do you mean by Project Manager - Environmental Field? That can mean a lot of things.LS - Fair question, I oversee several fish & I get to travel to some beautiful and interesting places and I work closely with those states and Tribal fishery biologist on these projects. So just to be clear, I am not doing the actual on the ground work, this is performed by them. I do travel to these areas for site visits, to check on the projects and their work as well as attend various meetings with these folks.POF – Would you say you like a certain type of women?LS – I don’t think I’ve got a particular type, I am 45 now so I've got some serious dating years behind me. She'd be someone who's got a sweet and genuine heart, can show empathy and finds herself rooting for the underdog more times than not. A sense of humor and someone who can be a little sarcastic at times is a plus. Of course she doesn't need to meet all of these qualities, but a few would be nice to have. I will say a girl (and I know they are all women) who treats others and things well (humans, animals, nature) goes a long way in my book, as does an amazing kisser.POF - Any silly things you want to share about yourself?LS - I love silly facts so here are a few. My favorite number is 9 and my favorite color is green. My favorite month is October and carving pumpkins is a must no matter how old I get. I have chapstick in my desk at work, in my bathroom, in my living room and next to my bed. Recipe books are fun to read in bed and my closest friends are still the people I met in my teens though I’ve met some wonderful friends at work as well.POF – Anything else you’d like to share?LS – I will say I’m very much a question asker. I’m a curious guy and want to know things about a possible date/partner, etc. I do travel at times for work but not for long/extended time periods. I’ I've been divorced since ***and it seems like a lifetime ago. I have no children- sometimes I think I'm missing out but then there are other times I think "wow you're a great Uncle and that's probably all I can handle". Lastly, I do need downtime to recharge, I think I mentioned that earlier.
