About Me

Well I guess the first thing I should let everyone know is that I am a single father of two great kids. My daughter is 6 and my son is 2. I know I know late start but I think I appreciate how precious they are more now that I'm older and more at ease with myself. I am very laid back and easy going. It takes quite a lot to get me upset about something. I'm a "glass half full" type of person. I love to joke around and make people laugh. I have a wide sense of humor ranging from very dry and sarcastic to corny and ridiculous. It really just depends on who I am with and the situation we are in. I am attending school at RCC in the evenings to finish a mechatronics degree. I have always earned a living with my hands and ready to do more behind a desk thinking. lol I'm looking for a person to spend time with and talk to. I want a best friend to start with and then see how it goes. I do not get a lot of nights to go out without the kids but do miss a nice dinner or a few games of pool just hanging out. Of course someone who likes children is a must and someone with children close to the ages of mine are a plus. I do not believe in lies and half truths! I can be brutally honest at times but usually know when to just passively let people know what I am thinking about something. Any questions just ask! I will be more than happy to talk about anything. :) Meet up at a tavern or nice restaraunt where we can talk, maybe have a drink, laugh, and get to know each other. I love just hanging out shooting the breeze.

    Romance, being romantic, what is it ? I think it's different with everybody. Romance is something you can't fake not in the long term anyway. Being romantic comes from the heart, being romantic is not a conscious thought its an act of love. An unswerving willingness to make that person feel special without self gain. Making that first cuppa on those lazy Sunday's in bed even when you don't want one yourself. Random cuddles out of the blue and another random cuddle just to make sure. Doing every day tasks to help each other out, just being there for the person you love is romantic. Romance is there in everyday life. I like to look clean and smart at all times so if you can't use a washing machine and an iron STROLL ON!! I do believe that a woman's place is in the home so forget any ideas about romantic meals in fancy restaurants and exotic holidays to far away shores.I'm a firm believer that a woman can clean an cook all day yet still find time to look smoking hot!! Yes you don't have to go to the gym to do this. If you put enough effort into your house work you'll burn up those calories and tone up your body. Simple!!! I'm not asking for much but please, for the love of god! if you're the kind of girl that asks "what happening", "who's he/she", "is this a true story" when we're watching a Star Trek, Lord of the rings or any other film I love...
