Hello, I love music and Gigs, MOD based but that is a fairly broad church. I enjoy good food, good red wine and gin.I love socialising but also enjoy staying in and reading, not really a great t.v. Fan. Just looking for some fun dates at the moment. Does that sound like you?

Hello and thanks for taking a look!Regular kind of chap checking-in, hoping to meet some like-minded ladies. Looking forward to a few pleasant evenings out and maybe the opportunity to meet someone special.Have just returned to a job I liked (and missed) after three years working in an office. Feeling I have the career back on track, I need to address some other areas in my life that are lacking. Got all the boxes ticked; good job, house and car, but could do with some company. Work involves a bit of travelling; USA, Middle East, Far East, India & Europe, but there's plenty more out there to be seen, so someone who is up for a bit of travel and adventure would be great. Quite fancy a long train journey somewhere and a good bit of walking and sightseeing. The idea of jumping out/of off something very high up scares me, so would draw the line at that kind of adventure, but no point in travelling for hours just to laze by the pool!Spare time currently taken up with restoring a ***s car. It's been a long slog and a definite learning experience - I'd be out there tinkering in the drive now if it wasn't raining! I'm hoping it could be ready for the road early next year, so this would probably feature in some future activities.) on a road trip to North Africa. That'd be fun! We all get on well and often meet for a coffee in town or have walks & picnics with my young nieces. Friends would describe me as loyal, dependable and practical. Maybe these are a bit dull, but perfectly normal for somebody who works as an Engineer!Enjoy listening to a variety of music, some evenings it'll be Dance Anthems other nights it'll be Jazz or World, but it tends to be just from the radio. Always a bit of time for Radio 4 as well so I must be grown-up! I have set myself a small challenge of collecting the full set of "Hits" albums on vinyl, some good retro tunes and supporting local charity shops at the same time -surely good karma!Would be up for going to a few more concerts if there was some good company to join me. Also enjoy an evening at a Comedy club, but I have learned the hard way, not to sit near the front in a small, local venue!Like the cinema, but usually try to seek out the slightly odd-ball movies, not the latest noisy blockbuster. You have to travel a bit further than the local flea-pit to find these, so naturally, a night at the cinema is usually combined with seeking out a nice restaurant.Trying to avoid the latest hand-held technology; like the portabilty of a paperback book. Currently reading Shane Spall's book about her sailing trip around the UK coastline with her husband Tim, the Actor. I usually go for something autobiographical rather than fiction. I hope there's enough here to catch your interest and get us talking! If not, good luck with your search. Be Lucky!Stu.PS Serious contenders only please -and no nutters! If you're just a bit bored with your current partner and are 'browsing' for alternatives, please don't waste my time, it's very rude! Something relaxing, not too much pressure!A nice meal somewhere good. Not the nearest pub chain down the road!Maybe with these chilly winter days, a nice walk first to warm-up and work up an appetite?
