About Me

I am trying a couple different dating sites in hopes of meeting someone new who I would not normaly meet. I live in a small town and that makes it harder to find new people. I have been at this for about 20 years and do pretty well. Those were great trips and made me now have a deep desire to travel all over the world.I would love to find someone who has that same interest. I find that seeing other cultures and places really puts my own life into perspective, and it's fun. I am a laid back guy who can easily compromise when it comes to decisions. I hate drama and if your life swirls with drama, please move on. Life is too hard to add all that into the mix. I like to have dinners with friends, tail gate for football games, and spend a few days at a music festival now and then. I have to admit, I don't find occasions to dress up and head out to formal events much, but I am not a slob either (but often have clay on me somewhere). I'm sure there is more to tell, but you will just have to ask.I mentioned music festivals. I love a wide variety of music, but draw the line when it comes to rap. I now have an awesone travel trailer but will tent camp if I have to. I am a little more into comfort these days. I love a good road trip and new places. The first date........... Well, since this is an online thing, I think it would be best to figure that out as we go. Probably somewhere fun or comfortable so we can ease into meeting for the first time. Something like a nice lunch, coffee or even a dinner. I guess I should probably type up something marvelous but I am a little more realistic. Since I just moved to the area, I don't really know where to go or what to do. I hope you may have a good suggestion or two.

    I think Im going to try a different approach. As we age we learn that some of our hard and fast rules arent so important. Compatibility cant be described at times. Face it there are times we meet someone that has that "it" factor and when they do if we analyze our hard and fast rules for finding a mate they dont always match. I would rather hear the ugly truth than a pretty lie. Enough with my legal disclaimer. Im a 44 year old father of 2 girls. Few quiet nights at home watching a great movie not bad either. I have some great friends who are all mostly married with kids, I know I'm ready to start or be apart of my own family now. Do couple things, have a partner in crime lol..run this town darn it... lol To be causual, no pressure or worries. To go to a place to talk and have fun together. As long as both people feel comfortable..
