Don't worry, once you see through my self-deprecating sense of humour, you will discover I'm actually quite dull.I'm always up for a good night out on the sofa, or cuddling up to a good club with a DVD.If I had to describe myself in a sentence, I would say I'm someone who's down to earth, well educated, honest, assured, but not over confident, considerate and good looking (according to my drunk friend!) I will always hold the door open for you. I am looking for an attractive confident woman. One who will stand her ground on some things, yet give in when she realizes how important something is to her mate. I am clean and organized-it is rare that anyone ever has to pick up after me. I don't have cable and watch very little tv, but do watch some movies. I always have something to do in the garage or around the house. I'd love a woman who would bring a book out in the garage and hang out and chat while i work on something. To me that is how couples become closer is by becoming a part of another's world, without losing themselves in the process. Not a sports fan. I do however go to just about every one of my daughter's tennis matches. I am the Dad who will sit there in the rain with a lawnchair until she hits the last ball. I've even been known to hold the chair over my head during the rain. I have an 11 yr old German Shorthair Pointer who i have had since 6 weeks old. He is more like a child than a dog. I like to do things outdoors, unless its blazing hot. I don't have time to try to control anyone, nor am i one to be controlled. I want someone who has their own life, and has their own things to do. We need to compliment each other, not become one another. I do enjoy a passenger on the back of my motorcycle pressed against my back. I am not the jealous type-don't have time for all that. I don't go to the bars, and hang out with the boys. Once in awhile yes, but rarely. I am one who can do almost anything, and i do mean ANYTHING. Yes ladies i can cook-french silk pie and shrimp tempura are two of my favorites, clean, and even sew-not clothes, but mending type stuff. I think coffee or a drink to start with and see how it goes from there. If we are enjoying each other then we decide what else we want to do. Movies are no good for first dates-you can't talk enough. Well you can , but people get upset.
