I am one that if you want to know something about someone, you must meet and talk to them. Anyone can type most anything on here, but the true you will eventually come out in person.I believe that the 4 most important parts of a great successful relationship is Trust, Communication, Honesty and Love/Sex. When I say Love/Sex, I am meaning that you must love one another and be able to express it sexually. Since we are in the position of just meeting someone, the Love/Sex part isn't within the equation right now. That comes along much later.I am an easy going, laid back person. I have a good sense of humor and like to joke around, with a dash of sarcasm at times. I can be a bit shy and at a loss for words at first, but I can really open up as you get to know me. I enjoy the country for bonfires, camping, the peacefulness, hiking, canoeing, but also enjoy what the city has to offer. I am a caring person, who is easy to talk to. I not only hear what you are saying, but I listen also.I have two beautiful daughters that mean the world to me and I would do anything for them. They have my heart, but I am sure that they would share it with the right woman. I am also a big movie fan. I love watching movies. I also enjoy sports, primarily football and basketball. I like most kinds of music.I am looking for someone that knows how to have fun and be a friend, who hopefully one day will be more. Friendship is where all great relationships start. I enjoy board games, sports games, and even video games, but not into head games. As for drama, life is drama. It's just how big the drama is in your life and how you handle it.     I've always been a small group kind of person but between divorce and my friends getting married and having kids, my small group has shrunk down to...well, a geek and his dog.I've joined Meetup and have been meeting lots of people, making new friends as well as finally getting some regular exercise - hiking and biking. I'm certainly looking for a traveler's companion when an adventure presents itself, but I'm more interested in the other 99% of life:- the nights on the couch with pizza and some movies- a weekend hike- braving parallel parking and going to Schubas to see an old (or new) favorite- checking out a tribute band at a local bar- holding hands and sneaking each other kisses while we run errands at Home Depot and Target- staying up way too late playing Rock Band or Katamari Damacy- paying for a movie and sneaking into two or three of them- taking long drives with good music and looking for UFOs (or at least suspicious looking streetlights)People who have just met me think I'm too quiet. People who know me well may want me to shut up sometimes.My divorce is final so there is no lingering legal baggage there. Obviously it didn't work, but the divorce was amicable and we are still friends (well, as friendly as two divorced people can be***so take that as a reference!I'm looking for that special ***the last smile I see before I go to sleep and the first one I see in the morning. (You're still asleep? I'll just poke you a few times. There, now you're awake. Why aren't you smiling?)
