I love life! What else can I say about it? I've never left any stones unturned or failed to dive into anything and any situation. This makes me not much of a sedentary person (I'm no couch potato), so if you are prepared to do things and be active, we are at least off to a start! I made a few Japanese friends when I was in high school who were staying in the U.S., and so I decided to learn Japanese when I got to college. I was pretty gung- My junior year in college I spent living in Tokyo and Kyoto, and I returned to work as an interpreter for the Japanese government in Yamaguchi after college. As much as I appreciated the language, culture and people of Japan, I knew that I wanted to find a career back in the U.S. While living there one summer I discovered ultralight flying and eventually started working part-time as a flight *** immediately found my calling and passion in flying, so I decided to get training as a mechanic and pursue my private pilot's certificate at the same time. A few years later I was working as a mechanic and flight *** a flight school.-maker. I thrive on serendipitous moments: there's just nothing like stumbling onto something unexpected and spectacular. While hitch-hiking around Japan with a few friends in the early 90s, we found a quaint little town in the mountains which just happened to be having the biggest festival of the year, and we danced the night away with the locals, drinking sake and joining in a parade of costumes down the main street of town.I have made my share of relationship mistakes. The good news is that I have learned from them. I understand how important it is to have each walked the road of life prior to meeting at the right moment in our lives. I do not believe true love can be rushed, but it has to be nurtured out of shared values. We all view life through a prism. Does your prism shed light on the flux of events in life somewhat like mine? Not exactly the same, of course, but somewhat? Also, if you are an ardent admirer or apologist for a certain incompetent and inexperienced former community agitator, please do not waste my time. Seriously, if you are fooled by some flowery language and "Change we can believe in", what else are you fooled by? Call me.Most importantly, I have to be with an articulate and educated woman to truly be happy. If you can not express your thoughts and feelings, in English, then how am I to divine them?I do not have or make much time for TV. I appreciate things of more lasting value.I now fly all over the world for a corporate charter company. We pilots may live where we please. I would be happy to share with you more of my travels. I WORK TWO WEEKS ON FOLLOWED BY TWO WEEKS OFF and I have 2 weeks vacation per year, which means, every year, I have one and a half months off straight to do what I please. I also have the option of a week on/week off schedule...I'm only working half the year to begin with...but if being away flying around the world is a problem for you, I'm not the guy for you, because I'm not likely to just suddenly stop being a pilot...at least until I get my side business going...I am hoping to find that one woman who most complements me. We will complement each other, like a seasoning that adds incomparable flavor to life. If you are out there, then let me know...too cold) if that is what it takes to find you!P.S. Having kids and a family is important to me SO IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN HAVING CHILDREN (not right now, but one day...I have plenty of good years left) THEN I AM NOT A GOOD MATCH FOR YOU...P.P.S. If you have made it this far, you may as well read a little bit more. My relationship goals are simple sounding but much more difficult to execute. I want to KNOW someone deeply, intimately...as much as it is possible for two souls to know each other...the task is made so much more difficult because of the times we live in...the tyranny of political correctness which tells us we must deny our perceptions and our minds for fear of offending someone...TO HELL WITH THAT...I want to know her mind so well (and to have her know mine) we can exchange a glance and know how we each feel, even what we are thinking....I do NOT want a trophy...looks amount to maybe 25% of the equation...the rest is content of character and quality of thoughts...I want to love passionately and without reservation... I think it would be nice to share some wine while painting...I understand there are places to do such things, although I have not yet tried it...my paintings would probably improve with the wine, too...anything active that gets us out and/or meeting other people would make for a fun/interesting date...concert/comedy club...quiet, undistracted conversation
