About Me

I'm a proud single dad with two great kids. My daughter is 11 and son, 7. I know, I got started late but I'm sure I appreciate them more than I would have when I was young and selfish. I have them a lot and they are my #1 priority, but I'd still like to find someone to share my time with. I know that many ladies my age are sending their kids to college or at least have some in high school, so if you're not interested in dating someone with young kids, I guess I'm not your guy. I am a kid person, so I am open to meeting any of yours, regardless of age.I'm normally an outgoing guy but really don't get out much. I think maybe it's time I did. Time for me to enjoy myself again. I'm not much into the bar scene for meeting women and don't have many other outlets so, I figured I'd give this a shot. A little about me...I'm pretty much your average guy. I like cars, football, beer, Harleys, golf, guns, camping, fishing, canoeing etc. I'm a huge COLTS fan and rarely miss watching a game. I love laughing, even if it's at myself but admittedly sometimes get a lump in my throat when I'm forced to watch a chick flick. (That's why guys don't like to watch them). I like all kinds of music from old country to new rock but, don't expect me to know the latest hip-hop single. I may be a little rough around the edges but I'm not completely unrefined. I'm honest and loyal and expect the same in return. I'm kind of old fashioned and still open the door for my lady and place my napkin in my lap at dinner but I can put the niceties aside and let it all hang out when its called for.Well rounded? Maybe that's what I am, but the long and short of it is that I want to meet a girl that understands that sometimes when I kiss her on the forehead, it means more than when I kiss her on the lips.If this quick breakdown of who I am interests you, I dare you to find out if I'm for real.     I have three boys that I love spending time with, and they split their time with their mother and me. They are the coolest people I know! I like all types of music and I love to catch a good live show. The rare show in a little unexpected hole in the wall with a great band is the best!I've been in my field (HVAC design and sales) forever it seems like, and I love my job!I am definitely a do-it-yourselfer. I can dress up for work and sell all week, but when it comes to my own stuff, I enjoy getting creative and doing it myself. There isn't much around the house I can't fix. I do however know my limitations!I served in the military for 9 years (reserves), where I was a Nuclear Biological Chemical Specialist. In ***I was deployed with Special Operations Command to Afghanistan. I Spent almost 13 months in the mountains along the border with Pakistan with some of the greatest guys I have ever known. Love SEC football (Roll Tide Roll!) ...and I am a huge Saints Fan! I go to NOLA as often as I can to catch a game or to simply watch it in the Big Easy. It's a totally different experience when you are there! I suppose that would depend on what your interests are. Dinner, a game, comedy club, live show, meet for a drink to talk.We could even go fishing...
