Man. 45 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.

Looking for: woman. In age: 42-52

Hey, how y'all doing? I moved to NY from the south a few years ago. Don't worry, my southern accent isn't too strong. I have roots in PA as well so I'm from both the north and the south actually. I have a dry sense of humor and am pretty shy at first but I really open up in no time. I enjoy trying different types of cuisine. I work in the supply chain profession and I'm chipping away at an MBA at SUNY IT on line. I like to stay in shape through running, working out, soccer and Goju-Ryu, a traditional Japanese martial art. I love to play the guitar and enjoy listening to classic rock but also some of the newer bands. I'm pretty well- I'm looking to meet a woman who is feminine, adventurous, intellectually curious, sensual, etc. I don't mind at all if she's a bit of a tomboy. So, let me hear from you. Hurry up, my inbox is filling up! Coffee, or a drink and some appetizers will do just fine. Conversation would work too!

Man. 44 years old. Zodiac sign: Pisces.

Looking for: woman. In age: 41-51

43 year old gentleman looking for intelligent conversations and witty humor friendships. Would like to get to know one another and find a lady with common interest. I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, playing poker, and occasionally going for a horseback ride. I am fortunate in life to have such a diverse set of true friends, most of them I have known for well over twenty years now. I have a truly wonderful son that is turning into one fine gentleman and will soon be flying out on his own. I also have done fairly well with my houses and now own a nice place on five acres on the north side of town. Slowly, but surely I will fix it up as I have done my other homes. I am far from perfect and admit I make mistakes both daily and in my past, but I strive to learn from them and move forward. I am constantly working on new goals and aspirations in my life and in a perfect world see myself spending my golden years sailing around the world. (lol, ok this one is more of dream as this stage, but dreams have ways of becoming goals later in life). I love all kinds of music and can go from classical right into heavy metal, depending on my mood. I do not really care for sports and never have, but do not mind watching a game on the rare occasions where I might find myself at a Superbowl party or something of that nature. I try to read that paper on a daily basis, since I like to keep up on current events both globally and locally. I especially like access to alternative news or national public radio.I am interested in meeting that one special lady that can be my best friend. A lady that is intelligent and driven in her everyday life. One that truly is looking for one man to build a lasting, loving relationship with. I prefer a lady with either no kids, or at least older children, since mine is approaching that age of independence himself. At this stage in my life I do not want to have any children and it always seems the ladies I have met that interest me want to have kids of their own someday. I mostly want to find a lady that I can have common interest and goals in life with.Seems I always meet the women that have no job, no drive or ambition in life, no dreams or goals. I always hear women complaining about lazy, "scrub" type men. Well ladies, we men can deal with the same type of situations. Do not get me wrong here, I am generous and love to have a great time enjoying the finer things in life, especially traveling. However I seek in a lifetime partner a quality of work hard and play even harder. One that also enjoys the finer things in life and is not afraid to work towards obtaining parts of it. that depends on the lady, and how often we have chatted before we met. Of course a nice long ride, with some stops on the way is always a nice start. A nice quiet restaurant to chat and get to know more about each others passions and ambitions. Or maybe even jumping out of a perfectly good airplane if they are adventurous like myself.

Man. 43 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.

Looking for: woman. In age: 40-50

I was once labeled as a boring homebody. While this might be somewhat true, I have come to realize that it was out of necessity that I became that way. I was 22 when I became a father and a husband (Yuppers, in that order). So hanging out all night with the gang took a back seat then eventually became nonexistent. My family became my whole world. Isn't that what a man is supposed to do? Now some years***later I find myself single and looking for someone to help me change my identifier.I enjoy being outside as much as anybody else. Camping on my days off, day trips with my girls, hiking, backyard BBQ's, or maybe just a bike ride.Indoor activities work just as well. Conversation over a glass of Merlot is always a welcome distraction, I'll bring the wine, If you help with the conversation. I tend to be a little shy when first meeting someone but will open up fairly quickly.A game of pool and****ails, or maybe just dinner and a movie, either at home (I can cook if you don't like to) or not. I'm flexible, even easy at times. Here are a few philosophies that could possible explain the convoluted thought processes that permeate my brain. Joss Whedon can make any story believable. If Bach, Beetoven, or Mozart were alive today they would be scoring movies. Approach life as if everyone is a friend or nobody is; don't make much difference. Beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it's the middle that counts the most.Love is harder than crime. There's nothing wrong with going nowhere baby, but we should be going nowhere fast. The mere thought of participating in the whole online dating charade makes me yearn for the zombie apocalypse. If you know half the movie quotes or the one from a book within this little essay we will probably get along quite nicely. I wouldn't really call first meetings a date, more like an interview, but it should be someplace conducive to conversation. Second dates are where I work to be more creative and will attempt to impress you with my savior faire.
