About Me

I'll start by saying I'm somewhat quiet and reserved. Unfortunately, this is sometimes mistaken as being "unapproachable". However, I do enjoy meeting up with friends for a social drink and a good laugh.I've been self-employed for over 20 years, as a owner/operator ofg a small painting and carpentry business. Needless to say, I'm very responsible and driven. Working long hours is not unusual for me. A future mate/partner woul be understanding of this, as well as, have her own job/career.I have two daughters (both in college) that are a very important part of my life. They stay at my home whenever time allows for it . Besides my family (and dog) and work, I enjoy motorcycle riding, concerts, going to movies, as well as, nights spent at home. And after many years, I have even been horse back riding again.) but have been seen recently at a Lynard Skynard concert! Also I enjoy an occasional weekend get away. I find this is a great way to relax and unwind.As far as hobbies go, home improvement projects tops the list, inside or out, I can always find something to improve upon.I have had a few long-term relationships over the years, but have never been married. I'm looking for a partner who is self-confident, has a sense of humor, who is responsible and honest, and is employed. She will be able to make a decision, be understanding, patient and self-reliant.     Hmm ok talk about me, well if i were to describe me I would say I am more than laid back, almost to the point where nothing bothers me. I have ended a 15 year marriage to maintain friends with my ex which I am very proud of. I am in no way the jealous or controlling type would say everybody was born with their own mind so by all means use it. I have a very close relationship with my family and have some great friends as well. I would say my two kids are my core and main focus in life but would like to think there is someone out there that will complete the package.
