About Me

I can be shy when meeting someone new even online, but I warm up quickly. I'm the first to admit that I'm not perfect and I tell it like I see it. I have a good sense of humor although can be sarcastic at times. I am an honest (sometimes to a fault) and faithful. I listen to mostly Classic Rock but also like Country music, playing pool, Watching Football, Watching movies at home, the beach, fishing, horseback riding (only done it twice while on vacation and I loved it). I've always been in long term relationships. I don't do one night stands or play games it's just not me, so if you have game playing in mind, no offense but, please move on. No one likes to be hurt and karma does comes back knocking....just saying...Let's face it the bar scene is great for live music but not for meeting quality people. If you are more than a social drinker please pass me by. I'm willing to trying new things. Personality and chemistry are more important to me, but physical attraction is also part of the chemistry package so please have a picture. It doesn't really matter as long as we are having a good time and getting to know one another better.

Hey, I have two small boys 6 and 7, so I'm looking for someone who understands the commitments that someone with children has. Whatever you're up for - I'm game. I have season tickets to the Bears and I just, as of this year, gave up my season tickets to the Cubs. Talk about being in a bad relationship!! I think that is the definition of being a Cubs fan. So I absolved myself of that relationship and who knows?? Maybe, I could like the Reds...... Bears season is as I would like to call it 'Bears Church' where on Sunday morning you show up at 8am, religiously, and start tailgating for the noon game, and then cheer the Bears on to what is hopefully victory! They start the season opener September 8th against the Bengals at Soldier Field and I am excited! I am not in the least bit conflicted there :). I am a survivor and I am one of those bad mortgage brokers that sold subprime loans.... (really they did help a lot of people). I had my own business and what the market forces didn't finish off government regulations did, so now I work for big banks again. I currently am an Underwriter and I like my job. I get to help people get or keep there homes so you do feel that you are having a positive influence on people's lives. The mortgage market is ever changing but I have worked in it for 20 years now and I see myself moving up in an *** staying in the business. It's a good life. This year I would like to take some long weekend trips. Maybe a cabin in Brown County, IN hiking, maybe a wine trip to Northern VA, or maybe a weekend fishing somewhere, or maybe something else. All I know is that you can't just work to pay bills and that fun is important. Also, when you find the right person, the fun becomes funner. ]]]]]] Meeting in a coffee shop of some other public place would be good. I think on the first date you should keep that brief and if it goes well then make plans for date two.

I'm a genuine person, but can be silly or sarcastic at times too. I consider myself well-rounded...I can get my geek on with the best of them but can also appreciate and talk about art or Shakespeare.Friends and family are important to me, and although I keep myself pretty busy, I would like to find someone to spend time with. I'd like to find someone who's easy to talk to, and hopefully things could click. I think connection is very important, as is honesty - I am who I am, and don't pretend, and you shouldn't either - life's too short for masks.I enjoy lots of things - movies, music, theatre (both attending and being onstage), wine country, some sports - too many things to list all at once. This year ***I got pretty seriously into the sport of triathlon (finished 4 this season).other interesting (I hope!) stuff:-Can quote from pretty much all 10 seasons of "Friends"-;For Whom the Bell Tolls"-Have a really cute miniature dachshund "Describe what you would do for a first date"? That's incredibly unfair to ask. It really depends on the person. I don't think a cookie-cutter approach is fair to anyone. It should be something where we could talk, get to know each other better, and hopefully do something that we both enjoy as well - but what that is is going to be different with different people and I prefer not to "pre-plan" it.
