I am beginning to think that "50 pounds overweight with a high school education with 2 facial piercings and 4 kids from 3 different men" is all that's out there... PLEASE prove me wrong!!!... Now, down to it... I am looking for...A woman who realizes that honesty is an action, not an empty word... If you had to lie on your profile to be someone who you are not, go ahead and pass me by... Dishonesty is a terrible way to begin a relationship.A woman who excites me mentally... We have got to be able to carry on an intelligent conversation because it can't always be fabulous sex, right? :) Brains are very sexy on a woman... so, flaunt them if you've got them!A woman who excites me physically... people always say "looks shouldn't matter, right?"... If you'll notice, the people with good looks or the nice body are not the ones who are saying it.A woman who WANTS me in her life, not NEEDS me in her life... the word "dependent" refers to children, not a significant other... I am a hard worker, and I appreciate people who do the same. A woman who will tend to my needs, and let me tend to hers... Not much in a relationship feels worse than having one person taking care of the other's needs and desires, only to have that same effort not being made in return.A woman who can take a joke, as well as give one... humor is the only thing that makes life tolerable sometimes.. my job is cynical at times, which plays right into my sarcastic sense of humor.A few side notes:This is a dating site, and appearance is important... POST A PICTURE!!!Honesty is not EVERY thing... but not much else works without it, so tell the truth. Some people seem to have a strange idea what an "average body type" actually is, or what 'few' means in "a few extra pounds"."Trying to quit" does not mean you don't smoke, nor does it make it look better that you haven't quit yet... that goes for eCigs too... if you want to quit, THEN QUIT!!!

Looking for: woman. In age: 38-48

I'm a 40-year old widower that lost my 38-year-old wife suddenly to an unexpected massive stroke. I have 2 boys at home, so though it's not exactly Two And A Half Men, It can be quite interesting. I am a family man that enjoys life to the fullest since you know not what tomorrow brings. I tell those I love that I love them every day, in every phone call, in every way.My professional career has consisted of Radio News and Radio Announcing. I also used to host a 7 night a week karaoke show on the side..I don't mean to sound rude, but I don't have time for drama. I Have been through that before, and it is a MAJOR turn off. I'm an easy going guy that loves to laugh and make others laugh. My perfect match is my best friend. Someone that I can share anything and everything with. In a way, at the end of the day, she would be my diary of sorts. No lies, no secrets. Just respect me for who I am and I will do the same. She has to have a sense of humor, able to laugh at me and the self confidence to laugh at herself. I'm serious when the moment calls for it, but I'm also the kind of guy that could cut a joke at a funeral. I take life as it is and cherish every moment as if it were my last. My perfect match has got to accept me as a package deal. I come with two boys that are slightly ripe, but not ready for picking yet. All this garden needs is tears of laughter and joy to water the crop with and become a part of the garden themselves. I'm not ashamed to show my true feelings. I am a hopeless romantic and if someone doesn't like that, then I'm not the right choice for them. I am an open book and do not believe that either party in a relationship must be dominant. I am sometimes stubborn and do not expect any more or less from my partner. Simply snuggling on the couch watching a movie with the one I love is just as important as anything else. If this interests you, then let's take a chance and get to know each other better. What a first date should NOT be is anything that includes 2 hours in a movie theater staring at a screen *** talking to each other. I believe that a first date should be something casual that encourages conversation. The best first date I ever had was a light lunch on main street, followed by walking through an antique mall and then a casual stroll through a park. The antique mall thing may throw you off a bit, but just imagine how much you learn about somebody when the first thing you see reminds you of, say, something your grandmother always had around the house. "She had one JUST like this... It reminds me of the time... " It is a WONDERFUL way to get to know the REAL person you are with. THen you wrap up everything with that stroll through the park where conversation really blosoms.
