About Me

First the basics. I'm a divorced father of three. Only one still at home, and he's 16. I ride a motorcycle, I like camping,I have a job, and I own my home. Now the good stuff. I'm a pretty mellow guy. I like being outside (except in the winter). Camping, riding my motorcycle, etc.. I listen to mostly rock music, but I'll listen to anything if the mood strikes me. People say I'm kind of shy at first, but that doesn't usually last long. I'm always willing to help a friend in need. I think tattoos are very sexy on a woman, but I'm not too much into piercing. I'm a guy, so I like football (Go Cowboys) and Nascar but I don't spend all my time on sports. I enjoy a good game of darts, but I'm awful at pool. I like to joke around. Life is too short to take too seriously. I love to read. I have a kindle and a nook for some reason. I don't spend a whole lot of time in front of the TV, but there are a few shows I enjoy. Somehow my daughter got me hooked on zombies and now The Walking Dead is my current favorite. I think that's enough for now. We have to have something to talk about on our date, right? In closing. Are you what I'm looking for? Do you like to ride motorcycles? Doesn't matter if it's your own or with me. Do you like to sit by a campfire and have a few drinks? Do want to hang out with a nice, fun guy and see where life takes us? If any of this sounds interesting, give me a buzz. What do you have to lose? I'm not into fancy restaurants or big romantic gestures. A first date should be fun and casual. Something like bowling or mini golf. No pressure. Just two people having a good time and getting to know each other.

Imagine that you are standing in line at a café somewhere in Europe or South America. Imagine you’re smiling brightly eyeing a chocolate croissant. Imagine too that I am behind you in line and that I’ve noticed you. Maybe it is because of your beautiful smile and natural beauty. But maybe, too, it’ Or maybe it’s because of the way you flick your hair as you think about your next adventure. And seeing you covet that croissant makes me want to speak up and same something funny. To tell you a joke or to ask about the book you have in your hand. But we are strangers in a line and what could I say without sounding a little weird. Besides, we may not even speak the same language. Even if we do, you might find it a little strange if I start talking about myself and my interests. And besides, all you might be thinking about is sinking your teeth into that delicious chocolate croissant while sipping on your latte. I hope you glance back and like what you see. I hope that you like tall, dark, French Canadian men with charming smiles. That you think I am handsome and intriguing. That you aren't intimidated by confident and outspoken men. Would you say thank you and move on or would you ask something trivial to be polite? Would you be intrigued by the amount of travelling I have done and my unique view of the world. But we aren’t in a café in some foreign country right now and we don’t speak different languages, so I guess what I am asking is – if you turned around in that line after I said something funny would you sit down and share a travel story or two with me? If so, what would you say? A quick drink and maybe a stroll along the water.
