I am re-writing my profile. It seems I may not have expressed myself clearly in the previous one.First of all let me say this; If you are a creepy guy in his mother's basement or sitting in a public library, piss off! I have been told that I have a broken filter because I tend to be a bit blunt and say what I am thinking. I am not an egocentric narcissist. I am confident. Maybe a bit c**ky but, never arrogant. Are you comfy in jeans or lounging around in sweats or maybe less.... It is nice to get dressed up for special events but, casual is preferrable. This may sound rude but, I don't want to waste our time. Appearance is important to me. I take care of myself and can "clean up" quite nicely (confident not arrogant). Please have confidence with your natural beauty. Make- No woman should require 45min in front of a mirror to make herself presentable enough to go to the grocery store (divas need not apply). I am not interested in "a few extra pounds". I am sure there are men out there with a hearty appetite and can appreciate a bigger meal. I can assure you I am not one of those men. I know that this is shallow. I have made peace with it! (clearly some are illiterate or just eager for rejection), Oh, you must have pictures of yourself, recent pictures. I am not (yet) interested in the beautiful woman you once were. I want to see the beautiful woman you are today! I have lived alone for quite some time and have no desire to be your shadow nor do I want you to be mine. I enjoy my "me time" and can respect your "you" time. I have absolutely no problem finding "Mrs. Right Now". I am on meetville because I hope to find a woman with whom I may share something real and lasting. If we hit it off there is not too much that i wouldn't do to ensure your happiness. I will not attempt to force a relationship nor will I stick around while you decide if this is what you really want. Again - " I have no problem finding Mrs. Right Now! " I can and will take things slow while getting to know you. However I won't suppress my feelings or sacrifice who I am. You either like me or you don't! Either way I am okay with it. Not meant to be rude. I am just stubborn enough to know that I am not going to change who I am for you or anyone else. I don't need a woman in my life. I want and desire to have one! I am not needy or an insane jealous ass but, I do not share well! I want the woman I am with to want me, just as I would want her! Let's find each other and enjoy all the benefits of weekend road trips, naked twister, staying in bed for the entire day...I am a communicator. I have no problem telling you how I feel. I am sensitive, caring and intuituve but, don't expect me to read your mind! Be strong enough to say what is on your mind and then soft enough to make me weak in my knees! I will reciprocate. I will definitely make the woman I connect with weak in her knees routinely! Confident not arrogant! lolI listen to mostly Rock or Heavy Metal. Five Finger Deathe Punch, Kid Rock, Metallica, Three Days grace, shinedown and yes, the big hair 80' bands. I am not opposed to some country or other music with the exception of Rap. I consider myself to be open to pretty much anything but I cannot listen to Rap. I have tried and just don't like it!I am up for an adventure but know that my idea of camping involves a room, bed, electricity and indoor plumbing! I don't have any over the air television and only recently got the internet. I do have two large flat screens and a ton of movies!I have the best job in the state I teach defense and arrest tactics and love doing it! You won't hear me groaning about my job. It does keep me quite busy though. I am responsible for training all of the P&P agents in the state, so I travel usually every week.If you want to know more just ask! First dates can be a lot like road trips.I would love to regale you with witty tales of my exciting world travels while we are served a five course meal aboard my Yacht. A few problems with this desire. I have no Yacht and my world travels only consist of some fun vacations to sunny climes. I do have a nice backyard fireplace but, I don't drink wine. I do imbibe an occasional mixed drink or beer though. (some first dates require a stiff mixed drink just to endure) but, I am fairly confident you won't need one.lolSeriously first dates are awkward. We either have endless conversation filled with lots of laughter and some display of affection. All of which seem to end way too soon or we meet grimace, force a smile, order that stiff drink and look for the nearest exit!Perhaps just something casual where we can talk and get to know each other. We can decide that together!

    I'm on meetville so at least i'm out there, if you will. I do have camping and horse trails however, and so I keep good company often times. I'm perfectly indipendent and content on my own, yet i'm only getting older. I don't like depending on anyone but myself, so I'm not looking for the "desperate for a relationship", or the "unstable dishonest one with something to hide" It would be the honest and/or meek that will get my attention. And I am very good at knowing the difference. Trust should be earned, not given or taken easily. However I do give out benifets of doubt like candy. One has to, i suppose. ...Been seven years single. Been hiding away probably much too long, yet can go seven more if I have to, So if I were to be with a gal, she would have to have good morals, portionate to my size, and lovely from the inside out. And it's imperative that she be content beyond where the concrete ends, at least some of the time. I'm somewhat allergic to concrete if on it too long. I'm not afraid to try new things, yet i'm not a crowd person either. I do have heart and I tend to like the individual more so than the group. Of course, that depends on the group. I don't beleave the right one is right next door, but that has also been the delema. Too far has been an issue, thus far. I do have to say, that i have realy enjoyed the corospondance and the meeting of a few lovely ladies from here! However, I will not settle for whats less than best for me. Good luck! Right? Well I know my chances, and i'm okey with that. All it takes is one. In the meantime, there's nothing wrong with writing. Feel free to write and/or ask questions. I would like to hear from you. I do ask for your patients however. I'm not online often. I'm not a traditional guy. The ressult of that is, i'm not one to have candle lit dinners and a show.
