OK, I would like some feedback meetville folks. I am told by friends and associates that I am a nice guy. I often put others ahead of myself. I am a caregiver. It is my job, and I took care of my parents for a combined 13 years. Its what I do, I enjoy it. I am educated, not hideous and have a wide variety of interests. I am always the great "friend". I am tired of people asking me why I am single. Frankly, I don't know. Is there something I can do, change my profile, I don't know. I just want to meet a nice, honest woman and cannot get any replies. So...help! I am looking for a woman to get to know in the area to hang out with, get to know and show me what the city has to offer. I like to read, go for walks, watch movies, museums, gardening, sports. I like to go to parks and watch the sunset. I enjoy going to the wineries and having a glass of wine. I enjoy playing in my garden and watching things grow. I am an avid reader and enjoy a good book but I also like to go out and have fun. Honesty and family are the two most important things in my life, so if you are looking for games and like to lie, keep moving.I have recently emerged from a very dark period in my life. My mother passed away recently, I lost my job and was unemployed. I was the primary caregiver for both of my parents for the last 14 years. I work in healthcare. I find myself a carfegiver with nobody to care about.I love science fiction, comic books and movies. Huge DR. Who Fan. I'm on meetville so at least i'm out there, if you will. I do have camping and horse trails however, and so I keep good company often times. I'm perfectly indipendent and content on my own, yet i'm only getting older. I don't like depending on anyone but myself, so I'm not looking for the "desperate for a relationship", or the "unstable dishonest one with something to hide" It would be the honest and/or meek that will get my attention. And I am very good at knowing the difference. Trust should be earned, not given or taken easily. However I do give out benifets of doubt like candy. One has to, i suppose. ...Been seven years single. Been hiding away probably much too long, yet can go seven more if I have to, So if I were to be with a gal, she would have to have good morals, portionate to my size, and lovely from the inside out. And it's imperative that she be content beyond where the concrete ends, at least some of the time. I'm somewhat allergic to concrete if on it too long. I'm not afraid to try new things, yet i'm not a crowd person either. I do have heart and I tend to like the individual more so than the group. Of course, that depends on the group. I don't beleave the right one is right next door, but that has also been the delema. Too far has been an issue, thus far. I do have to say, that i have realy enjoyed the corospondance and the meeting of a few lovely ladies from here! However, I will not settle for whats less than best for me. Good luck! Right? Well I know my chances, and i'm okey with that. All it takes is one. In the meantime, there's nothing wrong with writing. Feel free to write and/or ask questions. I would like to hear from you. I do ask for your patients however. I'm not online often. I'm not a traditional guy. The ressult of that is, i'm not one to have candle lit dinners and a show. Yet I do tend to let the lady have the choice. I'm not against anything realy, just stuck in the cowboy ways, i suppose. Feel free to write and ask. Two things I didn't get before. I'd like to travel more and need a good travel partner.Because of my job I have access to sporting event tickets. I like to watch sports. I do not play fantasy anything. I don't try to memorize every stat. I'd like to get into running. I would prefer someone that is easy going and doesn't sweat the small things. If you are obsessed with a clean house etc we are not meant to be. I'm ok dating someone quite a bit younger or older because I get along with everyone.My music preference is 80s, classic rock, hard rock ,metal but ok going to a bar to hear blues or jazz. I am not a fan of country but would go for the right person.I dont watch alot of tv but my favorite show is Seinfeld. I like to eat exotic foods like thai, sushi, or other.I try to stay in shape. I lift weights, ride a bike, and work around the house. I like dogs and have shih tzu bishon mix that is my little buddy.My movie tastes are action comedy and horror.My career is going well. It took me a long to to get there.I'm not afraid to clean the house or do chores. I iron my own clothes. = ) Drinks or coffee is ok with me.
