About Me

First and foremost thank YOU for taking a look here at my profile. I like to think of myself as a simple person with simple wants, needs, and desires. Unfortunately we are all complicated in our own ways and sorting through all of the complications brings us to all of our turning points in life. I have spent half of a lifetime trying to sort through the complications of another and in the end things did not work out. Another turning point has come and now I am starting a new adventure. One that both excites and terrifies me. The exciting part is meeting new people, laughing at new jokes, seeing new smiles, and hopefully finding new friends. The terrifying part is that I haven't a clue how any of this works any longer! So a bit about me and what I am looking for. I am looking for a friend, a lover, a partner in life. I want to experience new things and see new places with that special someone. I tend to be a bit more towards the old fashioned point of view. I expect that when I ask a woman out on a date that she will let me pay for it. If I didn't want to then I wouldn't have asked them out :). I certainly appreciate the fact that most women are able to care and pay for themselves and if they want to pay for it then they can ask me out *** you have to let me know that ahead of time or I'm going to try and pay anyhow. I like to think that I am funny and can get most people to laugh although my humor tends more to the sarcastic side of things. I certainly enjoy a wide range of movies and music. Some of my favorite recent movies have been comedies such as dinner for schmucks and the hangover. As for music I like alternative rock the best, 3 doors down, puddle of mud, and such.What I am looking for in a woman is someone that is comfortable with herself. I am not all about looks and I don't really have a type. I believe that everyone has things that are attractive about them. A nice smile, pretty hair, nice legs, a sharp mind, who knows everyone is different. One thing that is a must in a relationship with me is a love of family. I have a 17 year old son and my time with him is very important to me and I will not be in a relationship with someone who doesn't want or is unwilling to be a part of that.So now if you have made it this far and my god you have got to be determined to have read that giant book that I wrote you should send me a message :).
